Really lovely and quite sturdy. Appears to keep time very well! Makes a great addition to our daily routine- I’ve found it’s easier for the kid to focus on his thirty minutes of reading if there’s not a countdown timer to watch.

This was a birthday gift for my husband. He loves it, and it is beautiful accessory sitting out in our great room.

It's a good product for a fair value, however mine arrived with two missing screws that are necessary to hook the hour glass onto the remainder of the apparatus. Looked everywhere inside and outside the box about 10 times to ensure this wasn't something I did. No. Just two missing screws. Being a typical female the odds of me having anything around to fix this situation is beyond lacking, however I'll check my local hardware store to see if they have any ideas. I bought it as a birthday gift and have a little time. Anyway, when it get's put together, everything belonging to the apparatus is functional, quiet, and moves with an appealing ease. I think it will make a lovely gift... eventually. :)
