Cold SteelMagnum Kukri Machete, 17.00 in, Polypropylene Hdle,w/Sheath

This is my second one. Keep one on my ATV and one in my truck. They are a great value.

This machete is 20 ounces of nature harassing awesomeness! Seriously this thing makes those floppy oversized butter knives at your local hardware look like a foam cosplay sword. Light enough to cut through light brush and vines without ripping your arm off but heavy enough to replace even the best hatchet. This is my second time purchasing. I abused my first one far more than it ever deserved over 5 years and it worked just as well as it did out of the box up until I lost it while moving. (I'll never forget you little buddy<3)Pulling the new one out of the box felt like hugging an old friend and I can't wait to deforest my new property with my trusty new bush abuser! 11/10

edge was horrible. and i mean horrible.chipped edge other. than that no other ccomplaint. gonna have to put my own edge on it

Rattle snakes

Upon opening its a solid product.The edge it came with however was horrible. Not even useable in my opinion. Had a ton of metal hanging off the edge from where it was quickly and somewhat crudely sharpened, granted I dont expect it to come with an awesome edge right out of the package. There was a large sticker on the blade, and I peeled it off and wanted to remove the leftover adhesive, so I put some rubbing alcohol on a cottonball and started to rub, and the black finish came right off. Theres a huge shiny spot right on the middle of the blade. I figured the finish was baked on, and could withstand some rubbing alcohol, but no. I basically ruined it blade right away. I immediately got it sharpened at a knife shop nearby and they put a awesome edge on it, and I just hit the blade with some spray paint, which is basically what it Seems like came on it.But all in all, I am satisfied with it considering what I paid for it. Its a workhorse and you tear it up. I liked the shape, and weight. The grip was nice.

Very heavy duty. Bald is thick and durable. I took it to the local knife store and had them sharpen it. I will be using it on my camping trips. I broke it in in the yard whacking branches down with ease. I'm glad I got it. It comes with a sheath too

Not sharp but of good quality. It should be great for doing everything that I want to use it for.
