Same ingredients as discontinued Neutrick's tablet, repackaged in palatable chewable form
I am getting the same results from this soft chew as the discontinued tablet that helped abate cognitive dysfunction in my 15+ year old chihuahua hound mix.I was concerned that the manufacturer pulled the old bait 'n switch with consumers when our beloved tablet went off the market last year. I bought as many bottles of the tablet as I could afford at one time (had 6 in my pantry at one point) and even halved his dosage every other day to stretch the product, but the clock kept ticking and we finally ran out. I ordered a bottle of these chews with zero expectations--in other words, short of resulting in illness or death, it was worth a shot--and I am SO GLAD I finally broke down and bought it! Anyone with a chihuahua knows that they can be voracious but picky eaters. Scooter will pick peas and carrots out of his wet food mix. He was so offended by the turkey gizzard we gave him one Thanksgiving, he hauled it to the living room in front of the couch where we were sitting and peed on it. Scooter LOVES this supplement. We use it like a treat, and he gobbles it down every time. We are getting great results with this chewable form.If you're concerned that your four-legged canine friend has a case of doggie Alzheimer's, PLEASE talk to your vet about this supplement. We are using Cholodin and Neutrick's on a dog that was literally on his last legs, and that was over two years ago. Love this stuff.

I did notice a difference
I have a 11 year old Wheaten that was getting a little foggy. She would go out in yard and when I called her back she would ignore me staring out in the yard (whether by choice is not determined as she can be stubborn) I bought this with the hope that it might help her and I do notice a improvement in her cognitive responses. I will continue with it.

Erased my dog's severe dementia in a week
My 14 year old dog's sudden onset of dementia was pretty bad: she couldn't even walk without toppling over every 1-2 minutes. It was like she momentarily forgot her back legs were there. Constantly pacing, didn't understand commands anymore, peed anywhere, randomly howling, toppling over all the time. The vet prescribed her 2 Neutricks a day (one in the morning, one in the evening), and after a week of taking them, she was back to 100% normal, like nothing ever happened. It was the most bizarre, unexpected, total recovery I've ever seen.5 months later, she had a seizure (she has a history of seizures since before the dementia started), which reactivated all the old dementia symptoms...the toppling, the delirium...but even worse. She was in really, really bad shape. She couldn't move her back legs at all, she just laid there, soiling herself. We thought we'd have to put her down.Obviously there was more than dementia going on here - the vet suspected some temporary brain condition (forgot the name, but it was not a stroke) that goes away in a week. She prescribed some pain medication and 3 Neutricks a day (2 in the morning, because they work better in the morning, 1 in the evening), and sure enough, my dog got visibly better every day until she was back to 100% after a week. She was walking again in 2 days. That was 1 month ago; she's been healthy as a puppy ever since.I'm not saying Neutricks cured whatever ELSE is going on with my dog, but in terms of targeting and curing dementia, I am thoroughly amazed by these pills.

Terrific experience with Neutricks in 11 year old Old English Sheepdog with Canine Cognitive Dysfunction Disease
Our 11 year old Old English Sheepdog with mild Canine Cognitive Dysfunction Disease has benefitted greatly from Neutricks (we saw a slow, gradual improvement over the first six weeks, and at eight weeks, noticed a BIG difference (for the better!). We got to Neutricks via our Veterinarian, who is an academic General Medicine Veterinarian, and who is driven by evidence based medicine. In my experience, he's not been big on supplements, or for that matter, many injections (in particular Lyme and Canine Influenza). Our Veterinarian told us that he had had a good experience with Neutricks, and suggested that we give it a try. At about eight weeks into Neutricks, much of our dogs confusion and verbalization is gone; and, in particular, our dog will now jump up on the couch, and allow us to pet him (which he would have nothing to do with, pre-Neutricks). I understand that the supplement industry is entirely unregulated, and Lord knows what are really in many supplements, nor, whether or not the ingredients in a supplement lead to the therapeutic effect that they are touted to produce. I generally will only buy products that have been reviewed on [...], but Neutricks has not, as of yet, been reviewed on [...]. I decided to give Neutricks a try, anyway, and I am thrilled that I did. The only downside that I have found to Neutricks, is the cost of Neutricks (which quickly adds up, in a large dog).

40 days and no change...so disappointed.
I was willing to give Neutricks a shot for my increasingly confused senior mini Dachshund based upon the good reviews here. Unfortunately, I have seen absolutely no impact since starting Neutricks about 40 days ago. She's still confused and the product has done nothing to improve her cognitive function. I've been feeding one chew every evening. I know that nothing can stop Canine Cognitive Disorder, but I was hoping that this more 'hollistic' treatment would be a good first step in helping her regain some ground. It's time to go back to the Vet and try some prescription alternatives. I hope your experience is better than mine.

Not So Sure About It
We purchased Neutricks for our 11 year old GSD who was pacing, panting and crying during the nights. We were satisfied with the results and the dog loved them, so when it was time, we ordered a new bottle. Within a day or two after she started taking chews from the new container, the dog was lethargic, uncomfortable, and yelping from pain when touched slightly all over the body or lifted in the car. We stopped giving her Neutricks and the dog's pain went away...
