Once you manage to push the stopper down and get the 'wings' in the right place this stopper does it's job.

Excellent stopper
Excellent stopper that keeps the fizz in the bottle better than any other stopper I have tried, and a lot better than a metal spoon in the top of the bottle.

Disappointing!
Bought this as a gift which was opened while we were drinking champagne to celebrate.How embarrassing to find that it did not fit the bottle top!!! Not the time or place to makea fuss .
