Nice Camera For The Price!
I'm impressed! I bought this camera in early winter 2024 in hopes it would take videos in cold temps. My popular brand trail cameras stopped working below 40 degrees. I've had this one out almost every day. This camera recorded 20 degrees with sharp videos. And still working strong. The LEDs are indeed invisible, and the nighttime illumination is much brighter than my other cameras. It has 4K settings, but I'm only using 1920x1080p, and the videos look great. The trigger is a little slower than advertised, but not too bad. It only uses a micro SD card (not included), which I take out and read with a card reader. The USB cable method is ultra slow. It is rainproof. It has a screw mount for a camera tripod size screw, for mounting on a angle bracket on a pole if you don't want to use a strap. My only complaints are the case latches are small for my large fingers, and a standard SD card size would be better for me. But the price is great. I'm buying more after I finish this review.

Good camera, good seller
I have used this camera off and on for three years. It performs very well. The"dark" LED's don't distract the animals so much.I've had occasion contact their customer support, and they were responsive and helpful, they stand behind their product.

Garbage, regret buying it
UPDATE: After five months running it, I've set this camera up about 9 or 10 times and let it run. It has worked correctly maybe two of those times, and the photo quality when it has worked has been awful. In most cases, it has taken anywhere from 2 to 10 pictures and then stopped. Sometimes, it will just get me walking away from it and nothing else, when I've watched animals walk in front of it, and I've walked in front of it again myself. Sometimes, you don't even get that. I've tried every suggestion and every trick that I've learned in nearly 30 years of running trail cams, and this thing is just garbage. I regret buying it.I've owned and used a lot of trail cameras over the years, going back to the 35mm days in the mid-1990s. This one definitely isn't the worst that I've owned, but the quality is more akin to cameras that I owned a couple of generations back than the ones I use today.I was looking for a less expensive option than my current preferred brand, which costs about twice what this Vikeri costs, and I saw quite a few very good video reviews of it online, so I decided to give it a shot. The camera arrived nicely packaged. On removing it from the box, I thought the construction of the case and the latches seemed to be of a lower quality than my other cams, but that's to be expected at this price point. On the positive side, the seal around the door seemed to actually be better than my current cams, which was a big plus since I was buying it to replace a camera that had been ruined by moisture. The first surprise that I ran into is that this camera uses a micro-SD card, so if you have standard SD cards for your other cameras, be prepared for that. It does come with a cheap no-name 32gb to get you started. The second thing you need to know is that the camera is finicky with the formatting. On the first card run, the data on it would not read on any of my devices. I reformatted the card in my computer, but when I put it in the camera, it said the SD was invalid and had to format again. I accidentally moved the switch to off instead of on after that, and when I turned it back on, it again told me the SD card needed to be formatted, even though I had just formatted it in the camera seconds earlier. The menu is not completely intuitive, but not awful either. I did notice that on the setup screen, it always says the camera is in video mode, even when you have it in photo mode. I was worried about that, but it worked according to my settings rather than what it said. I also suspect the screen will not last long, as only a week into owning the camera, I'm already seeing some distorted lines along the top and bottom in the menu mode. The bracket that mounts the camera is also a little strange. Rather than running the straps through part of the camera body like others I own, there's a plastic bracket on the back of it, rounded to fit the tree. It probably works well if you use the straps to mount directly to the tree, but I use screw-in mounts, and the way that it's positioned makes it awkward and bulky for that. Finally, there's the picture quality. Daytime pictures are not bad, but night pics are pretty awful. They're very grainy and distorted compared to my other cams. Part of that can be attributed to the no-glow flash which never has the quality of IR flash, but I don't think that's the complete issue.Ultimately, I guess, you get what you pay for. If you're looking for a budget camera just to show you what's in the woods, this will probably work for you (though I do have concerns about how long it will last, especially the screen which is already giving me problems a week in). If you prefer higher quality pictures, especially at night, I'd look elsewhere.

A1 TRAIL camera
I wrote a bad review on this product earlier. The problem was me not the product. I misread the instructions. When properly set up, it works great and great value for the price.

Takes great photos/video, but buttons stopped working properly after 7 months
PROS- takes great photos- takes great video- takes pretty cool night vision photos/video- has incredibly long battery life/low battery usage- stores a great amount of video/pictures (so far for us the cap has been 669 photos/videos combined)- has still appeared to be waterproof thus far- mount and strap have held up- has a nice “lock” option for photos that you may not want to accidentally delete (which is very easy to do with this camera, read on to find out more)IMPORTANT CONS- buttons eventually stop functioning- buttons aren’t user friendly, it will take quite some time to get it figured out if you’re not technology savvy- “delete all” option is just under “delete” option and button skips down two or three options sometimes, making it very easy to potentially erase all of your photos/videos- buttons eventually render you unable to review and/or delete photos and videos without having to shut down/restart it/put it down and try another day- sometimes freezes, after only pressing one button- pictures/video become obscured when it freezesI got this when it was on sale, as I was looking for one anyway. My overall advice right now is if you’d like a nice trail camera, spend a little more on one that is maybe a name brand with lasting reviews. I say lasting reviews because a lot of these reviews seem to come straight out of the box. These reviews don’t seem to have any where the reviewer came back after having it for a few months. Or they review it after the first day and at that time things are good. The unboxing is great and the camera looks sleek and nice. Once out there it does take great photos, nice video and some really cool night photos, BUT after having it out in the field (sometimes not for weeks at a time, on and off) the buttons and functions accessed through them do not work and/or are not accessible. Here is an explanation of what I mean. You retrieve the trail cam, eager to review pictures. You hit replay to access pictures. This works fine at first, for the first few months. But shortly after that, it becomes more and more difficult to use the buttons. You’ll press down to view the next picture, it’ll “go” in a different direction and access something else, or nothing at all. At times you’ll have to delete photos/videos. You’ll go to the delete option. The button will “skip down” to delete all. You try to cancel and go back and it’ll skip around between cancel and delete all. Don’t hit the okay button unless you know for sure it’s on the right option. The ability to potentially delete all of your items out of the memory is very easy to do by mistake. The cam will also freeze while trying to review photos, sometimes only after pressing one or two buttons. Then it’ll start to obscure photos. Big blocks of green or pink will cover the screen. You’ll delete said photo, which may contain an otherwise great photo of an animal or what have you. Only to find out later that the photos aren’t actually “ruined” they’re just obscured by the camera itself freezing up during review. You’ll try to hit “back” and it just won’t go back. It’ll flip and skip between several options while you’re only trying to press the button one time. Or you’ll go to press a button and it won’t do anything. Or it’ll do a completely different function when your finger wasn’t even anywhere near that option. You’ll got to “lock” a photo or video out of fear of the dreaded “delete all” option, which the camera has a knack for selecting, when you’re only trying to select the single delete button. But you can’t even get to the lock option. The buttons will skip over it. Or not go to it at all.Overall, save yourself the frustration with this camera. It is a GREAT little camera at first. But after a few months the buttons will begin to fail. So perhaps it’s not waterproof? Maybe rain does affect it’s functions? Keep in mind; I also put a piece of metal over it as a roof to deflect rain for most of the time it was outside. There were only TWO times it may have been out in the rain for any amount of time. What is having a camera that takes great pictures and videos, but you can’t properly review them? Can’t delete them? Can’t access them? It’s pointless. Spend more money elsewhere where you get what you pay for in this case. I hope this reviews helps some make a decision before they spend their money and time. I’ll be keeping this as a back up camera until it possibly conks out all together. But I’ll make sure I keep uploading the photos and videos to my phone so that I don’t lose them all.
