8Bitdo N30 2.4Ghz Wireless Mouse for PC Windows and macOS

This is by far the best mouse I've ever used for anywhere near this price point. Let me tackle a few key points.A lot of other reviews say the buttons are small and awkward, and while that is true, it only bothered me for a minute or two. After that, I barely even noticed they were different. BUT, since the buttons are smaller and don't wrap over the front like most mice, I have significantly less accidental clicks, and don't get accidental clicks from just bumping things.I don't see this mentioned anywhere in the description, but this is a "use anywhere" mouse. I was using it on a pillow with a very rough texture and it was still tracking perfectly. Not as precise as my dark field primary mouse obviously, but that's a $100+ mouse.The touch pad between the buttons works well in place of the mouse wheel. It definitely feels different, but like the buttons, it didn't take long for me to adjust. Also, the up and down buttons on the d pad on the side are page up and page down, so they make scrolling through web pages easy. I haven't tried anything that needed the Mouse 3 button, so I don't know if it has that functionality.I don't think I would recommend this as a primary mouse unless it's all you can afford. But between the use-anywhere capability, lack of accidental clicks, light weight, properly having a slot for the USB receiver inside the battery compartment, and freaking cool factor, this is a perfect travel mouse. And like I said at the beginning, by FAR the best mouse I've seen at this price point.

This mouse is brilliant. It's as ergonomic as it looks... as in not very, just like an original NES controller. But somehow that makes me love it even more. I was initially disappointed that I could only scroll with the dpad on the side, but then I accidentally discovered the touch-sensitive strip between the mouse buttons that works like a scroll wheel (even with momentum, nice!). It's really taking some getting used to with the shape of this mouse, it really does give the same vibe as an NES controller, totally functional but square and edgy and a bit cumbersome, but it's a really solid device that clearly had a lot of love put into its design.Edit: after further use, yeah, it's a nice display piece for the shelf, lol! Really it is an impractical form factor, but I love it just for existing! There's a really interesting story behind this mouse!

Firstly, its not the greatest mouse I've ever used. The button's are meh, especially the left click button, as for those style of buttons are meant to be pressed straight down and not at an angle that your fingers typically sit and press into larger/flexible mouse buttons. And the 3D touch panel for the middle scroll wheel is absolutely trash. It doesn't scroll smoothly, it stutters and keeps scrolling after removing my finger, and half the time it just doesn't work.That being said, I enjoy the mouse, its basic functions work fine, and its unique and quirky. I'm probably going to pick up a different mouse that I can use for proper gaming. The lack of a middle mouse click button is a bit irritating, as well as not being able to remap any buttons either, but it was again a bit on the cheaper side, so I'm not too put off by the lack of features.Overall, for a gaming mouse, I wouldn't recommend. But as a fun little novelty for those who are into retro stuff, its not bad.*UPDATE*I've had to knock a star off the rating because of the middle scroll touch pad having completely failed. It would malfunction and just wildly scroll up and down with out me even touching it, and would be so much worse if I did touch it and wouldn't stop till I turned the mouse off and on again. I reeeeeeally wanted to like this mouse, and I do like the aesthetics of it, but cant excuse the shoddy option for a scroll "wheel" replacement and the lack of a middle click button which seems to be almost ubiquitous with mice these days.

This is a chunky mouse. It should be, since it is reminiscent of the NES era of its giant, mostly empty-space console mentor. It has good tracking, the buttons feel responsive, but unlike most mouse buttons, they don't feel "integrated" into the shell itself, and as such have a different travel and orientation to get used to. It's easy to get used to them though.The "controller" side joypad is a letdown though. You have no subtlety to the movement, and other than fwd/back, the "scroll" is wanting and difficult to make any sort of precision, unlike an actual mouse wheel.I don't recommend this if you smaller hands or shorter fingers. It won't feel comfortable. My hands are barely considered "medium", and this mouse feels like I'm 10 years old again. Other than that, this is a lovingly tribute to the NES that no nostalgic 80's kid should be without.

This mouse while not extremely comfortable, which it doesn't look in the pictures anyway, is very cool and performs very well. All my friends thought it looked cheaply made, but after holding it and pushing the buttons appreciated its glory. Upon telling them the scroll wheel was touch, it put the icing on the cake for them.The reason I upped it to a 5 star from a 4 because of it being uncomfortable, is because I dropped mine outside coming in from my car last night and unfortunately it rained last night. The mouse didn't care, I got all the water out of the main body and tried some movement to make sure it wasn't dead and she acted like it was never wet at all.If you like the feel of old game controllers, which we all know were not perfectly designed for human hands (looking at you nintendo) then this is the mouse for you. The tactile feel of the right and left click and convenience of the Dpad have made it my daily driver for anything but the hardiest of gaming.

Easy to use and simple for my purposes. Really like the aesthetic.
