Quality Monitor
The monitor seems well built. The colors look nice and consistent. I received my unit with no dead pixels and have had it for a couple of months now. It has some extra bells and whistles compared to other monitors in this price range; some are nice, some are kind of pointless. I go over the features and my impressions below. The Good:* Quality, consistent colors* DisplayPort MST: Excellent for multimonitor setups! This allows you to daisy chain DisplayPort monitors, allowing up to 4 monitors off a single DisplayPort connection on your computer.* Built-In Microphone: One thing I did not expect was that this also includes a button on the front of your monitor for muting the microphone. Handy for momentarily muting the mic or just in general for those privacy-conscious. Note: The microphone is off by default and you need to turn it on in the monitor settings. The Meh:* This monitor is capable of adjusting brightness based on ambient light. A neat idea often used on phones, tablets and laptops, but seems less useful for desktops where the lighting conditions don't really change as drastically. I turned it off and set my brightness manually, in part because it doesn't go as dim as I would like it to.* The monitor stand doesn't have a hole in the bottom for routing cables. It does have one in the top, oddly enough, but that's more useful as a handle than for actually routing cables through. The Bad:* The speakers are almost unlistenable, but that's the norm for monitor speakers. The Bad:* The speakers are awful, but that's the norm for monitor speakers.

Way better than a laptop screen, and affordable!
BenQ has impressed me since purchasing a top-of-the-line 32-incher for my professional photography, so when my sweetheart needed more visual real estate for non-photographic stuff, I purchased this super-affordable 24-inch 1080p. It is amazingly effective and well-designed. Excellent eye-care software, easy to set up and fine-tune. It's not 4K, but the 1080p is very useable for streaming, surfing, and regular work. Color fidelity is excellent.

Thank you Evan
I basically bought this because of Evan's review. I also have a background in photography so hearing him say how decent it was spurred me to purchase it. My last monitor was some cheapo Best Buy garbage just so I could have a monitor. This naturally is leagues ahead. When looking at the photos I did in University using an iMac and comparing them to this monitor and my prints, I do feel like the vibrance is a just a tad too high, but it's default settings are quite similar to what I used to use back then. The menu buttons blow my mind because it actually tells you what they do instead of the BB monitor where pressing them was a guessing game on how to navigate. Certain features seem to be locked an unavailable for adjustments, so I can't reduce the vibrancy on the monitor for whatever reason. My biggest complaint is the idea that I had to spend an extra $50 for a taller monitor because I'm taller than most people, that just feels crappy. Also the Amazon community said you can adjust the height of the stand? But I'm not seeing any clue on how and the manual doesn't explain this either. I just need it like, 2 inches shorter. Otherwise, I love and enjoy the monitor but the extra $50 left a sour taste in my mouth.

Easy to install. Works with Mac Mini.
It works for my purpose. I use Zoom, YouTube, and some logging programs so typing in data. I don't edit any videos or photos. Using a Mac Mini with the M1 chip. No issues so far. I like the stand is not huge and monitor can be adjusted up and down and many other positions.

Works with 2018 Mac mini
So I accidentally bought this monitor used instead of new. This was double boxed which I liked for protection but it's so big I'm going to try and keep it. The monitor seems to function great with my 2018 Intel Mac mini so far. I downgraded from 32" and this 27" which is the perfect size for me. The reason I dropped the star rating is b/c the seller listed this as Mint but on the back of my monitor it says Refurbished. I check the listing and the words Mint is so small and it's hard to see. I also messaged them to see why it was refurbished. Hoping they can get back to me so I can keep an eye on the issue that was fixed. If they provide excellent customer service and take care of me I will change the star rating. ... since this was used I contacted Amazon and they said I can still buy a protection plan for it. I definitely going to buy one since it's used.

Beautiful monitor!!!
Did not expect to be blown away by this monitor. The design of it is really intuitive — putting it together couldn’t be easier and it’s super sturdy despite the fact that you can rotate it and easily heighten/lower it. Was worried about the sound quality, but it’s not bad at all in my opinion for work purposes. For gaming, we might invest in nicer speakers eventually. I can already tell it is easier on the eyes than our previous monitor. ****The backlights did NOT come with it, we already had those and mounted them to get the glow effect!***
