Great Portable Refrigerator/Freezer
This is a great portable refrigerator. We got the large 53 Quart size, and glad we did, we can never have enough stuff when we go camping! We haven't had a need to use the freezer option with this unit so we have just used the entire unit as a refrigerator and it works amazing! We go off roading and camping and this unit straps down in the back of the Jeep and holds on like a champ! We got it with the insulated cover which I think is a necessary item for helping with insulation as well as strapping it down as the cover comes with straps. While traveling, it plugs into the 12V receptacle in your vehicle to keep the fridge running at set temp and it holds perfectly. While camping, we purchased the BougeRV 220Wh Portable Power Station, Backup Battery, Power Supply and also a solar panel, they also work well together to keep this baby running at set temp! Very happy with this portable refrigerator and the value for the money as their are definitely brands out there that can run $800 and more that do exactly the same thing, keep your food and drinks cold. I read a couple of other reviews and noticed a few complaints about the heavy springs in the handles, they must have fixed this issue before we bought ours as we do not have any problems with the handles, they work great! And it's not too heavy, even fully loaded, my hubby and I both grab a handle and team lift it into our lifted Jeep, no problem. By himself might be difficult fully loaded in the lifted Jeep, we don't need any pulled back muscles at our age. Love this fridge!!

Definitely five stars for the dollar. I have specs.
I couldn't hear it running over my kitchen refrigerator that was 40 foot away. You have to put your head down to hear it run unless it's the only thing on in the entire house. Exhaust ba even at 95° uses 0.7W plugged in with power off, power on w/ no compressor =0.8W | Power factor equals 57 | Hi @ Max start = 57W, Hi @ start on Eco = 48W, Run on Max = 42-50W, Run on Eco = 33-40W | 20W/hr avg 3 days @ 70-80*, 28W/hr avg on Eco avg 90* in shade. All readings taken using as freezer @ 0*. Remarkably the fridge side does not freeze."! I love it.. just not as much as my surfboard. I'll be doing remote camping on a secluded beach using mini inverter generator as back up to recharge all @ dinner time, cook with all electric for convenience & a solar generator with 200 W solar panels.I would highly recommend the insulted cover w/ pockets and I'm also going to be throwing a heavy moving pad over the top and keep it in the shade. Stays colder at the deep bottom of basket where I will keep meat. Ice cream on opposite side bottom. It's gonna be very nice to have frozen items that I can keep for days without having to go to the store .. 0° will do it. It's been plugged in over a week. It was more efficient after two days.A separate ice chest for drinks and a water cooler to keep extra ice and a separate collapsing water jug.No more fishing waterlogged food items out of the ice!! "Primitive camping ain't what it used to be" and you can quote me on that.

I’m thinking this is gonna do the job in my Ram Promaster.
Now I must mention I have only used this refrigerator one night at my house to test the item. The unit worked right out of the box though it is said it should sit for 24 hours. I plugged it into a small 300 watt battery backup and was able to get roughly 11 hours plus with keeping the refrigerator cool. Perhaps that will change when I add items into the chest. I set the temp down to like 19 degrees and it was always very cold in the container. One small note is while I would love to use this on DC with my battery backup some reason it would go into E1 error mode if plugged into the DC socket. So I plugged it into the regular outlet on the mobile battery backup and the refrigerator stayed on the whole night. Which is where the 11-13 hours comes from. The refrigerator needs to be switched to low setting if using a battery backup. I didn’t actually yet get very far with trying my other Battery backups such as my BLUETTI. That is soon enough. I have installed the refrigerator between the seats on my 2021 Ram promaster 159 and it fit after I removed some plastic covers on the seat belts which was only (4) screws from both sides. Fit like a champ as long as you face the unit with door closest to the front of vehicle. I have driven around a bit with the unit plugged into my DC outlet with no issues after I switched the refrigerator setting to high. I believe this unit will work properly for me which is why I I didn’t continue multiple nights testing it. I have three battery backups so I figure even if I could only plug it into the outlet on front I can keep some items cold for awhile while the solar panel is recharging the other units. I have plenty of leg room even with the refrigerator between the seats and I’m 6’1. I will update this review if needed. Just thought this would help for you Ram promaster people buying the 42 quart unit.

Not Insulated Well
Just received this item. So not fair to give a full review yet. What I can say is that the fridge must be poorly insulated. I wanted to check out how long the fridge stayed cold while unplugged, but I didn't want to spoil good food or milk for my experiment. I was hoping if temperature was 32F before I went to sleep and unplugged it, it would be no higher than 50F the next morning. So, I put 8 Gatorade bottles in it. No need for the overnight trial because it was at 32F because I turned it off to go grocery shopping for 20 minutes and when I came back and turned in on, it was already at 54F with an ambient temperature of 72F. A cheap Coleman cooler does better at holding cold temperature than this. Likely, if you put ice in it, it would melt quickly. Bottom line is it must stay on all the time or your items will spoil quickly. Otherwise, it works well, but this is a disappointment.
