Design Toscano CL56600 Holder-Flush The Gargoyle Toilet Paper Roll-Bathroom Wall Decor, Gothic Stone

I wasn't sure how well this would be constructed when I bought it but my worries were put to rest after receiving this wonderful work of art. Well designed, detailed and sturdy. It's not some flimsy, economy store holder made out of cheap plastic. This is made out of solid material and looks great hanging in my bathroom. My only caveat is that it doesn't secure very well to the wall as it hangs on a screw. It was easily remedied when I drilled a hole in the very middle of the breast of the gargoyle and drove a screw straight through it into the wall. Now it is mounted well and you can't even see the screw.

Looks awesome, for some reason the housethat I just moved into did not have a toilet paper holder in the upstairs bathroom, I remembered I hear seen these before and searched for the gargoyle since my house is super old I figured it would be fitting, and it is, I mean, I think so. I love it. Simply delightful.

I broke mine because I got so frustrated trying to hang it.

This is so awesome! It's cool in the poc, but way better in person! It's nice and large. I couldn't be happier.

I gave this as a holiday present to a friend who loves anything in a "horror" motif. It certainly was a hit: She laughed aloud when she opened the box.Gag gifts like this often are poorly made. Sometimes that's okay but not for something that'll get daily use. However, I've had excellent experiences with Design Toscano, and this is no exception. The construction is sturdy.The only caveat is that it is BIG. Not every bathroom can handle something that's 5.9"x11"x14". It's too big for my friend's small bathroom, for instance. I offered to take it back and get her something else but she assured me emphatically that she would find another purpose for it. The spot meant for a toilet paper roll certainly could hold something else, not the least of which is a hand towel.So do measure the space before you order this!

only 1 screw holds it up , you need to have a hand on it unless you pull the paper slow or straight down.

We love this. Hard to get huge roll in without ripping a little but they do fit. Good quality and we did put another screw through the stomach to keep it in place
