Another side of the political story
I am writing this from New Zealand - a country rich in natural beauty but poor in the provision of non left political analysis and comment. For readers outside the country the Kindle version of the Washington Times provides an insight into the events and issues in the United States - especially the antics of some politicians. As an older person I find the Kindle version easier to read and manage (adjusting print size and lighting) than the standard online version. While some reviewers would like to see more content I like the compact presentation. Presenting brief articles means that the writers get quickly to the point and provide food for thought whether or not yo agree with them.So I say good for you Washington Times and let your light continue to shine!

I really like the layout of the newspaper on my Kindle
I really like the layout of the newspaper on my Kindle. It is easy to read and keep up with the current events, although it is not as conservative as I am, it really covers the news and gives more detail than our local newspaper.

I love the Washington time
I love the Washington time, good read, informative, the only problem is I never get them on time. They are as much as two weeks late and sometimes I get three at one time. If they are going to keep their readers they will have to put the paper in an enclosed cover. That way the postal employees can't read them and leave them for others to read. I have gotten papers with coffee rings on the inside.

Can't unsubscribe
I "thought" I was subscribing for a limited time, but the Amazon format didn't give me (or I couldn't find) the ability to say I didn't want to continue. Thus, I may or may not have been being charged for this for several years even though I haven't downloaded or used it.

Great paper but lacking a few things
I love the Times. However, no automatic downloads without some manual intervention. Kindle edition is SEVERELY lacking non-political content and sections are lumped together awkwardly. Where is the business section? No national sports? And no weekend edition or Sunday-only option? I get it’s a Swampland paper but in comparison to the online edition, better curation is needed for me to continue my subscription—which I REALLY want to do.

Well written newspaper that gives you objective story I want to read, unlike people magazine
The newspaper gets the news of the day. It appears to be more objective than subjective. Good writers writing great articles. There is little subjective hate bashing noted in the the Washington post. I get that too. Very different.... journalist who know to write a story on fact just facts.

The icon is like the printed paper, it is not at all like the eBook version
Nowadays you can use tools like Calibre to download eBooks of news from hundreds of sites for free, but often they lack pictures and sometime the format goes a bit awry. Looking at the icon for the Washington Times, I opted to PAY FOR an issue. I expected an e-magazine formatted for the KindleDX in PDF like format. What I got was no better than what I can get for free. I won't be paying a second time.

Great perspectives on the news
I have to admit, I'm hooked. I initially subscribed to this Washington Times service not expecting much, but quickly found it to have the most interesting insights to all the national and international news. Makes a great start to the day with that first cup of coffee!
