For anyone who is suffering hurts of the heart and trying to overcome life's issues, I cannot recommend this book strongly enough. My walk on this path started with Chris Kilham and Graham Hancock. As in any journey we get lead on our way of perfect synchronicity. This book helps you understand the different Native Medicines that can help us heal without using pharmaceuticals for the betterment of society.After reading this book I was blessed to meet Dr. Gerry and experience the GOD Molecule. It is indeed that. I find Dr. Gerry to be a man that walks a fine line between Man and Angel. To truly see and accept who I AM and to feel the chains of life's hurts fall off me. To truly be FREE of these hurts.My only frustration is not being able to articulate the words to describe what I experienced. An amazing story of the power of a God Molecule to restore a man to sanity and fulfill his life's mission. Visionary plants and medicine are needed NOW more than ever to help us WAKE UP! I am a physician in the US who sees death in the Intensive Care Unit daily. I see people dying of drug and alcohol addiction. I see the physical and psycho-spiritual burn out of people living in a culture addicted to the idea that MORE is the answer. This book was very disappointing and not a good representation of this amazing sacrament. This is a story of a drug addicts life and his experiences with psychedelics. Do not judge this book by its cover.

I thought this would be more about various experiences with the substance, side effects, integration, what it means and what it does to the brain. This is a complex molecule and the author glorifies it. I also read that he raped and sexually assaulted women.

Read it cover to cover in four hours and was transfixed on the story and timeline; beautiful in every aspect of psychedelia and what ventured past this realm of distinguishability. The author gave a more than accurate portrayal on how this toad can help save humanity and how we are in the NOW for the revival of mankind. Love love love and light to all!

responding positively I enjoyed reading this short semi auto biographical and thought provoking book ..,though I would have really appreciated a more in-depth sharing from the authors emotional world , who hi is , what really inspired him to become the person he is today , deeper insight into his trials and tribulations and sharing of wisdom etc :)

I had no problem with the book as a delivery, it was here in 2 days with amazon prime but the content was not what I had hoped and the book was hard to follow,all that being said it's not the fault of Amazon for the books content.

I tried really hard to like this book... the only good point about it is the introduction by Martin Ball, if anyone wants to read about 5meo then read Martin Balls book. This book is so bad on so many levels it is a real shame.... i read 80 pages, which could have easily been summed up in 2 pages, most sentences start with I I I I wow so many "I"s, the author sounds very proud of himself of how he left home at early age and ate lots of peyote, throughout the 80 pages he keeps emphasizing this , the ego and pride just pour out of him, seems also some kind of advertising of the service he offers of taking people to entheogenic journey in Amazon, well ok , if he wants to advertise himself thats fine but this book isnt really a book.... The language is terrible... there is zero structure, it is incredibly boring to read, its just a chain of then i went here then i went there then i did this then i did that.... lots and lots of boring details of unimportant thing and yes ok everything is God and nothing is unimportant but comon you know what i mean... And most importantly when it comes to his own revelations the descriptions are short and vague... isnt that the whole point of writing a book???oh and also text is massive, you will keep turning the pages, ok maybe for people who have issues with eyesight, but also lots of tiny images where you cant see anything ...it is a shame because we need more books on 5meo but a book like this will do more diservice i think, if i never knew anything about 5meo i would never thin much of it after reading this book....

Excellent book . Entheogens are so awesome. But we must be wise about all aspects of shamanic plant use.

Pretty lame book.The author seems like a generally good person that wants to share the wonders of 5Meo, but he’s a terrible author, and his stories amount to “I tried mushrooms. It was great. Then I moved here. Then I tried lsd. It was great. Then I moved here” with very little about the drugs, the experience, or any sort of entertainment value. 5Meo (the god molecule) doesn’t even appear til around page 100 of a 150pg book, and then only mentioned in passing. Chapters are named for different drugs, but then are only mentioned in passing.Don’t waste your money here folks. It reads like it wa written by a junior high kid reporting on how They spent their summer vacation
