Edifier P270 in-Ear Headset - Metallic Earbud Headphones with Mic and Remote Control - Gold

I got these Edifier P270 earbuds two weeks ago and have really put them through their paces, listening to everything from Daft Punk to AC/DC to the Grateful Dead to NPR podcasts. The sound is well balanced, with nuanced, ever-present bass that hews to the tenor of the sound without overpowering it.PROS:+ Crisp, Clear and Well-Balanced Sound. Both the vocals and the instrumentals are well represented, while the base makes its presence felt without resorting to brute force.+ Quality Metal Construction. The earbuds appear sturdy and durable while remaining very lightweight.+ Stylish Design Aesthetic. The gold-colored earbuds paired with the white ear-cups and wiring create a neat, smart look.+ Comfortable. The product comes with three sizes of silicone "ear-cups." Once I found the proper size, I found the fit to be both comfortable enough for lengthy use and secure enough for athletic activity.+ In-line controller button works well. Mic works fine.+ Great quality for the price point.CONS:- The wire is quite thin and gets easily tangled and blown all over the place in the wind.- No volume buttons. The sound quality from these earbuds was outstanding. They are quite a bit better than any other ones that I own. They also worked quite well for calls when paired up with my phone. Both participants in the conversation were able to hear the other quite clearly.The earbuds are also quite comfortable to wear. Included are three different size tips. I'm a pretty big guy and the medium ones were perfect for me.The one concern that I have about them is that the wires are pretty thin. I'm very good about not being hard on the cords for my devices, but I probably would not get these for someone I know who goes through charger cords very quickly.Disclaimer: I received this item at a discount in exchange for an honest review.

I thought it was a lightning connection type of ear plugs. I was disappointed. Sound quality is good for its price though!

I paid full price for these based on the previous reviews...I wouldn't call these GREAT earbud headphones as others have noted....they are ok generic earbuds for min-medium volume listening. You can more than likely pick up similar headphones for about 10 bucks, maybe a little more for the mic... I don't see the value @ ~$30. They are ear piercingly high pitched when the volume is higher than mid on my cell phone. I wouldn't call them balanced. Its more like the treb was pushed all the way up. Bass response is horrid even when sealed in my hear. I'm generally listening to music from my cell phone (nexus 6) with the volume up enough to block out the world so I can focus on what I'm doing. I bought these to replace my google fi earbuds which my wife accidentally washed :).Overall fit options aren't bad, the default fit me just fine.If you are the type that likes higher frequencies, perhaps listening to books or talk radio these may be good for you.If you like a balance with a little base or a cheap audiophile looking for a decent earbud set with mic, I'd say look elsewhere.

Received it yesterday, Sounded GREAT when working. My major was EE and I know how to treat things and analysis what is wrong, built and designed speakers, ears not as good as once were. Did NOT drop, pull by cord etc....all of a sudden the volume of the left went down to essentially nothing. I ALWAYS pulled them out with metal knob not cord. Switched ears, stations, music, buds, etc. to make sure it was what I surmised...it always was the left bud. Attached different headset to see if it was female plug on device, wasn't.IF durability would get better I'd give at LEAST a 4 star and I'd buy again...don't know whether to try again or not.Addendum:The sound was Very good with these, balanced and detailed. If I ever gave a 5 star review ( always figure there's room for improvement ) sound would have gotten close...really pulled review down with out of box (few hours) failure. I will probably watch these to see if they beef up their attachment. I'd really be tempted to try again but hate to fool with the trouble. Seller was fine.

Great metalic build premium feel and sound no tangling wires easy control buttons love it for the price.

These headphones are excellent for the price & really good quality. I have had Bose headphones and Sony headphones in the past & these Edifier headphones are not quite as good as $100.00 Bose headphones but they're much better than Sony headphones. My next pair of headphones will be Edifier not Sony or Bose.

I am totally happy with the ear buds regarding the way they work.they keep falling out of my ears because the ear pieces are to big. I've changed them to the smallest size, but theykeep falling out, because my ear canals are so small. No chance of them growing because I'm in my 70's now.

my mother stole these from me as soon as i bought them. she is very satisfied with them. i may have to buy another. good company!

I think the product for the price is excellent. It works great and the sound quality is excellent and at the same time they are quiet durable as well in terms of quality. I would definitely recommend to buy the products for those who have a low budget and appreciate quality. For sure Great Value!!
