I like this handheld’s design and soft flask. Rinsed out the flask, which is a collapsible rubbery material that surprisingly doesn't give water a funky aftertaste. A bit difficult to get the flask into the fabric holder until I realized I had to unscrew the flask's top, then put it into the holder, then fill it up with water, then put the top on. Almost impossible to get it into the holder with a water-filled flask. Really like it so far. Carries 17 oz water, keys, ID or credit card, but a tight fit for smaller phones.

I've got a little over 100 miles on these bottles in an Osprey vest. 1. The bite valve is working fine. In response to those who say flow rate is too low; try biting a little harder, and press on the bottle when drinking. I find this results in a fine flow rate. 2. I am not using the valve extensions, don't find them necessary to drink on the run, and don't want them near my face. 3. I leave the bottles in the vest pocket and press firmly when drinking. I have found no leaking at the valve, nor any seam splitting to date. 4. Design element I REALLY like: the screw on caps are OVAL. That means the short axis of the cap is less likely to dig into your pectoral muscles while running. Smart move. Assuming these last another 2 months of use, I will buy a backup pair. The last thing I need is to have one split the day before an event.

I went on my first hike/run with these water bottles. Hold 500ml. The straw is different than other long straw soft bottles, the straws go down into the bottle, and the height is perfect (shorter than other bottles, and I like that). I like that these seem to fit into the water bottle pocket better than other bottles, closer in shape to UD bottles. For the cost, these seem like a great solution.

The insulated jacket comes off easily for cleaning. The bottle itself is more of a "bladder" and collapses flat when not full. A real lifesaver for me because I have vocal cord dysfunction, and a sip of slightly salted water while running will keep the throat open for breathing. Good price, nice features like reflective patterns in the jacket, a hand strap, and a second zippered pouch for light belongings.

It works well for its intended purpose. The inner flask is a little hard to fill. My biggest gripe is that it comes with no instructions. If you have used one of these before you’d have no problems but I had questions. It is light and easy to run with.
