Good quality, solid product
Good quality, solid product. Head band is metal, and is adjustable as is the mouthpiece.I've been using the Plantronics HW301Ns for a few years now, but this model is replacing it.I use it with my laptop's soft phone, and for listening to audio. Sound is very good and clear, and headband is comfortable.

Buyer beware - both product and support
It's a very pretty headset. Problem is that it doesn't work for my two applications. I wanted to use the headset with my iPhone. I bought the correct jack adapter from Plantronics. The physical connection to iPhone is there. The person using the headset can barely be heard by the audience. Sound to the headset is normal. So it's pretty well worthless for use with an iPhone. I contacted Plantronics support and they suggested that I try it on an Android phone. Yes, that was their suggestion. Do you think Plantronics would actually test this product on an iPhone given that there are millions of iPhones in use? Apparently not. Perhaps their product literature should be very clear that it does not work with an iPhone. I bought the RJ11 type adapter to use with my landline. I plug that into the headset RJ11 jack on my phone and there is no audio from the person speaking. None. Sound back to the headset user is normal. Really nice looking and comfortable headset. Problem is it does not work.

SUPER mic & noise cancellation
Been using this headset about 6 weeks, has worked great! NOTE - IT IS NOT A STANDALONE HEADSET! YOU NEED A D80 ADAPTER to plug it into & then plug that into a PC’s USB port. The boom is extendable and rotatable, so you can wear it to the left or right, and position it any way you like. The mic is quite sensitive & pics up voice great, yet the noise cancellation is the best I’ve ever experienced.I have had music playing on a Bluetooth speaker about 2ft from me - quietly, but I could hear it & I am a little hard of hearing. It could not be heard on a mic test I did. I also tried making little whistle/rustle noises through my teeth, some light lip smacking, some hard breathing, some paper rustling, finger snapping, and other noises that other mics would pick up - none of it registered on the mic via Zoom or Teams. Neighbor’s dog barking, lawn mowers, hammering construction crews up the street… none of it came through the mic.The first D80 connector I had did not function properly. It would not mute, answer calls, etc. it allowed me to talk & hear, but all other controls had to be activated on the screen. The replacement allows full functionality of the headset & has been working well — but that is really about that separate product, not this one. Still, you need it to use this, so wanted to give a full description of the overall product experience. The ear cushions get a little damp/slimy feeling since they are leatherette type material, but I chose that over foam coverings, because at least I can wipe down the smooth finish of these & clean them easier. Also not scratchy as foam can be to those of us with sensory issues. I wear them almost all day, rarely a break, so if you don’t have to do that probably wouldn’t be an issue.I like these so much I’m considering buying a second set for the office. Just have to lock them up at night!

Must buy DA80 USB Audio Processor
The sound is fine however had a hard time getting mike to work with VM ware from work. Callers could not hear me very low even with volume all way up. Called Poly and you must go into the sound control panel for speakers and ensure that any other speakers are disabled. This was with HP all in one. With old Dell had no issue. I like the 5220 headphones a lot better for sound and comfort. But if you work at a call center and need call center headphone w/quick disconnect these are a lot better than what your call center headphones will be. I just wish the cushions were bigger as hard of hearing.

Great . . once you have the mating cable.
At the time of ordering, it was not exactly clear that this wired headset didn’t come with all the “wires”. As it turns out, to actually connect to a USB port, you will need another fairly expensive Plantronics component. When you have everything together, they work very well and are comfortable.

I CAN HEARRR!!!
BEST HEADPHONES I HAVE HAD!! I work as a 11 dispatcher and these headphones are wonderful. I put one headphone halfway on my ear allowing me to have room awareness while I can hear radio and take calls.

This is not a USB headset.
This is a call center headset with a commercial phone adapter. There are USB adapeters, and I ordered one but this one does not come with it.I haven't been able to use it because the adapter didn't come but it seems solidly built and has a nice adjustable boom on the microphone. Open to changing my rating if the company sends me an adapter.

Over priced
I could barely hear the callers but the caller could at least hear me clearly. That only lasted a few months. Now I can't hear anyone clearly and the can barely hear me. Had really high hopes that this expensive headset would work with. Unable to return the headset.
