Q: Are the shoes tight across a high arch?

Not at all. I have a high arch and these are perfect for me. They aren’t tight on the top of my foot at all.

Q: Do these have a boxy toe for space?

Somewhat yes. I tried the regular and the wide fit because my feet are thick I guess. The wide definitely gives more room in the toes of course, and I feel like it is kind of boxy; the toe is squared off. My toes do not feel squished in the wide like they did the regular.

Q: Do these shoes have removable inserts?

I was able to remove the inserts with a slight tug(just lighly stuck on) then i put my orthotic in there. I also cut the laces out and put my own in so I could tie them custom for my comfort. I found them a tad wide

Q: The Navy looks a little more like a dark grey. Is that what they look like or are they an actual navy?

The product photo depicts them accurately. They look gray until you put them next to something black — and then they are clearly dark blue.
