I ordered 5 different backpack purses; this is the one for me. I have a beautiful Born backpack purse, but now that I'm taking grandchildren (ages 3, 4, 6, and 8) on day trips, I'm finding that the Born bag is almost bursting at the seams...bandaids and "owie oil," tissues, wet wipes, and all the "treasures" they hand me have made it challenging for me to access the items I carry for my own use. So it was time to look for something larger. I didn't want something like looked like I bought it at a sporting goods store, but I needed a variety of organizational pockets, sturdy zippers, and a size that would hold more than my Born, but not massively so. Enter this beautiful bag! Very good quality leather (the fake stuff always looks trashy after a few weeks of use); a sturdy thickness that's not stiff and unyielding. The pebbled texture will help to disguise the inevitable scratches and gouges that come with everyday use. The lining is a sturdy and attractive satin. The stitching seems to be well done; I have no loose threads/popped stitches anywhere. Such a nice assortment of pockets, some zippered and some not, both inside and out. The gold-colored hardware elevates the look of it. I really like that you access the main compartment through the strap-side, so it's facing your back. The 2 side pockets will each hold a standard half-liter bottle of water from the store. It's nice that they hardware in place and a strap for wearing it cross body style, although I'm only 5'2", so it eouldn't work well for me in that capacity. This is such a well thought-out design, I am thinking I should get another one, for when this one gets too worn out in a couple of years.

I’m very happy with the backpack.It’s chic and also great to travel with.It has so many pockets and is great to put a lot of things in it.The quality is good. I have no issues so far with the zipper.

Terrific traveling purse. Used it recently on our trip to Hawaii and it was perfect. Plenty of storage and zippers. Liked the side pockets as well. Like very much that I can use it as a backpack, shoulder purse, or single handle. Also when used as a backpack it was perfect that the zipper access to the storage section where I kept my wallet, etc. was not facing outward. The only issue I had was the color. I chose gray but it was definitely taupe. Still ok just not the color I really thought I was going to get. I will use it around home as well.

This is my 2nd Kattee purse. I love the purse. This purse gives me several options of carrying it. It is not to big for my petite frame. I ordered the "taupe" color but it is deeper in color ( that is why I did not give it 5 stars). I am considering purchasing another one in a different color.

This is a great purse. Size is perfect. It has great storage. It’s soft and just what I have been looking for.Pyrses are so hard to buy but I really lucked out on this one. It’s made well an overall just a really nice purse.

A year and a half after purchasing this to wear on a trip to Britain I'm still using it daily. I didn't go back to my lovely Brahmin handbag. This backpack is just too convenient. And strangers still ask me where I bought it. It shows little wear. I don't know where this was manufactured but if it was China they've really upped their game. It is indistinguishable from something purchased from a retailer of high quality leather goods.

Beautiful leather day bag with built-in anti-theft features. Easy to open and close zippers. Just used it for two weeks in Europe.

PROS: This bag looks sleek, elegant, and feels like it is well made.CONS: the back (main) compartment is so incredibly awkward to get to in a pinch or if your hands are full. This is NOT the bag to take if you’re heading to the airport and need quick/easy access to your things. There are 3 straps (2 straps for those who wish to carry this bag like a backpack and 1 additional strap for those who prefer the shoulder/crossbody option). The shoulder strap does come off but the backpack straps do not. The backpack straps are somewhat stiff and constantly in the way when I’m trying to unzip the main compartment on the backside of this purse and it drives me nuts. If you can get past the straps, the main compartment is actually pretty spacious. And for those who like to stay organized, there’s certainly no shortage of pockets. I really wanted to love this bag but sadly it’s more irritating than functional, in my opinion.
