good for the cost
this is actually pretty good if you want to put the work into it to make it accurate. have some sanding and such to do but for the cost they did a nice mold. Again packaging was completely destroyed as amazon seams to do alot but item was fine.

Great Boba Fett Gun
Rubie's blasters and props are cheap, yet full of detail. I enjoy painting them to look like they did in the movie and put them in my collection. This gun has no moving parts and the stock is removeable to help with painting. I reglued the pieces to make it a bit more sturdy.

Good for prop painting, but the price...
This blaster is really only good for two things: children's costumes and repainting for a prop (see attached photo). The biggest thing is the high price. The cost is pretty steep considering it's a non-functioning costume piece. Also, it is a bit rickety in construction and could be easily broken when played with, so be careful if you are giving this as a gift to your child.

Perfect Prop
I went as a Moana Boba Fett crossover. Slight difficulty sanding it with all the different crevices. But was still able to repaint and it looked badass after!

Can this be screwed up if there are no screws?
Purchased this blaster to repaint (as I have now with several rubies star wars blasters), knowing it wouldn't be the best quality. However, I did not anticipate how poor the quality would be.There are 8 large and noticeable screw holes in this item. Yet when I received it, the entire blaster portion had no screws whatsoever. The stock of the blaster had two screws, however I soon realized they were hot glued in place, and not actually holding anything together. Even worse, is that it looks like there is a screw buried inside of the hole, and I am unable to remove it without damaging the toy. So unfortunately, to assemble what I have, I will have to permanently glue it together, or spend time drilling out the screw that is stuck in there, neither of which are desired. On the opposite end of the spectrum, the barrel of the blaster, though having all screw holes entirely empty, is firmly together, though misaligned. It appears that some variety of adhesive (probably hot glue) was used to attach the two halves together solidly. If it were actually screwed together, realigning the pieces would be perhaps a 5 minute job at most. Now I get the chore of attempting to separate the glued halves without damaging the gun beyond repair. In short, the only actual useful screw in the piece was a single one on the handle, connecting it to the stock. Meaning 1/8th of the work was done to correctly put this together. I realize this is just a toy, one I purchased to work on anyways. However, I was hoping for a little better than this. If at best it takes me 3 hours to fix this, paying myself minimum wage and factoring in the cost of what I have received, this will cost over $50. Which at that point, I should have purchased a similar item on etsy with no hassle.
