Very very comfortable!
I figured I could trust the TempurPedic brand, and I was not disappointed. The seat has enough support not to sink to the bottom, but is not too firm. I have had my tailbone surgery previously, so I am very picky about chairs. I can sit most of an 8 hr. day without pain. That says a lot!The back has great lumbar support. The arm rests are a little wiggly, but that doesn't bother me.Easy to assemble, all parts fit and work well, very sturdy, rolls easy.Strongly recommend this chair!

comfortable chair
had bought a different chair from a store that caused me much pain in the hips and back and had to return it. ordered this one based on the brand, Tempur-Pedics's, reputation and the positive reviews and it has been the best chair ever. i can sit in it for long periods of time with no discomfort. i'm so happy with this chair. easy to assemble. only wish it wasn't so difficult to vacuum cat fur off of it. have to keep it covered due to my cats love this chair, too.

Nice chair with good back support
So far so good. Very comfortable and the material feels soft to the touch. The lumber support is extremely nice during the long days of work. I hope it last a long time.

Amazing Chair, seat only lasted 4 years, trying to warranty
I purchased from staples originally. The chair was great. I am 5' 11" and 200 lbs, I sit in my chair 30-40 hours a week for work and school. This chair was amazing compared to every other office chair I'd experienced. As I write this review, the last month or so I've slowly noticed my tail bone being sore after a day of work. The foam pad is just worn out in the middle and doesn't rebound or have the same stiffness. Otherwise amazing product. Save your receipt! As these chairs come with a 10 year warranty on the mechanics and 5 year on the cushions/fabric from the manufacturer. If you don't have the receipt then DONT remove the label on the bottom as you'll need that for alternate warranty claims.

The Tempur-Pedic TP-6400 is Comfortable
Like silversurfer, I too tried all the chairs at Staples (highly recommend this if you can as your results may differ)… and found the seat of the Tempur-Pedic TP-6400 the most comfortable (and purchased it at Staples where it was discounted to $230 from a regular price of $280). I really wanted one with a mesh back (as I figured it would be cooler), but the seat of the Tempur-Pedic mesh-back chair didn’t feel QUITE as comfortable to me (maybe the sample was on the floor longer?). And I didn’t want one, like this, with a high back (reminds me of executive or gamer chair), but I really like this one! It reclines and is very comfortable. And the lumbar support hits my back just right. This is not a light chair! This chair, boxed, is 60 pounds and the chair itself is likely 50-53 lbs. The instructions to put it together are very clear and the only tool needed, a hex wrench, is included. It took approximately about an hour, un-rushed, to put it together.Mine came with a Limited Lifetime Warranty. The basics stated, “The Raynor Group warrants the ORIGINAL PURCHASER…” [caps are mine]1) that “… all components for the lifetime of the product with the exception of the Tempur material, which will be warranted for 10 years and the upholstery, which will be warranted for five years.” AND2) that “… all parts will be free from material defects. The Raynor Group will repair or replace, at its option, any unaltered components.”The “…warranty is limited to replacement or repair and does not cover cost or transportation and labor…” The warranty also limits to “normal use”, a 40-hour work week and 275 weight limit.I’ve never had a fabric chair, so I don’t know how well it will wear, but I like everything about this chair so far (had it about a week now).
