Perfect as A/C insulation, lots more uses.
This stuff is great, for AC insulation, for sealing firewall/bulkhead openings, for patching floorboard drain holes, for sticking down wires that may be rattling or need more support. Use it under door panels and wherever. Easy to work with, lots of stretch, sticks even when surface is not perfectly clean.

Before you buy . . .
This is 1/8" thick, or per my measurement, .120", and 2.0", not 2.4" wide. Someone posted an answer to question about this and said it was 1/4" thick. It isn't.Also, the dimensions on the "See more product details" of the product description have a confusing "8 x 8.4 x 2.4 inches", where they should say "1/8 x 2.0 x 330 inches". The 8.4 is apparently the roll length in meters. This may partly account for the "not as described" reviews.The product has a clear film on the non-sticky side, which I think is answered correctly. There's nothing wrong with the clear film, but it looks like most of the negative reviews somehow felt that somehow it wasn't supposed to be that way.I would prefer that the sticky side be stickier. For my purpose of sealing off an evaporator I think it will work fine. You might want to end a wrap with a zip tie if you are using it to help insulate tubing.
