Cannot access battery/SD card with case on
You have to completely unscrew the case from the tripod attachment which it uses to secure to the camera to access the SD card slot. So plan on using a really big SD card. The battery is not as much of an issue because the charging multi port is accessible with the case on, but unsnapped and loosened from the front.The case comes in two pieces, the first is the base and side which screws onto the tripod mount. The lens and top protection snaps onto the bottom with two attachment snaps. You can leave this second piece dangling by one snap while using, which I would not recommend, or you can use the base only while taking pictures. The base portion attaches the strap. So you can unsnap the flap and throw it in your purse/bag while using the camera, and put it back on when you put your camera in the bag. You have to unsnap the cover piece if you plan to use the video shooting handgrip. That grip is a glorified tripod with three buttons movie, zoom and shot. Bit overpriced, but most unforgivably, even for my really small hands , too short by a couple of inches . Still its better than nothing for vlogging
