Book came in great condition and on time

Throughout the series you mainly have the view point of one person, Haruhiru. There were a few chapters of his not friend Ranta thrown in to help give a different perspective and insight into the character. Volume 9 will open up the minds of the rest of the group for your perusal.This book won't progress the plot very far and may not interest those who prefer constant traverse through plot. However, there is a lot that I feel will be important as the group moves forward to survive and eek out a place for themselves in their new? world.If you have fallen in love with this unique series as I have, you will find joy in this chapter of the brave goblin slayer group.

Nothing much really happened. it's 3/5 for me, but I would like for more people to enjoy this series.The author revealed something at the end of this volume, that he doesn't plan out his novels. That became very clear in this volume.There wasn't any build or lead up to anything. Nothing happened and this volume felt extremely immature. The execution was poor.The only memorable event that happened was Shioru matured and is becoming a more important part of the team.

Graaaaaaaah! Stupid cliffhangers! Volume 9 continues on at about the same pace as volume 8 but with more going on; covering about the span of a day or two. I would say that volume 8 and 9 should be considered as one large book and preperation for the rest of the groups' journey. Was it an enjoyable ride? For me, yes. Was it jaw dropping? Not really. But I understand that volumes like this are important to the development of the story. I'm looking forward to what the author has in store for us, now that we have a deeper connection to and understanding of Party Haruhiro and their individual thoughts/feelings.

I loved the new insight into the minds of the rest of the party, specifically ranta during all the events at the mist valley. To see how each member views the other was development I wanted to see since book 6, but glad that he waited till now to show it since this is the first time the party goes through an event like this. For story progression it didn't go far, but for character progression its a straight 10/10.

Great book! So in my opinion volume 8 and 9 needs to be together as one book. They are just really short. Can’t wait for the next book!! Gimgar is my favorite series of books!!

In two previous volume I feel that the tension is lower. Really glad on the character development. Main character become stronger without even he realizing.

Just yes. This book series is way more heart wrenching and in depth with it's character development than I was led to believe
