These locking pin backs are STRONG. I collect enamel pins for my camera backpack, which gets bumped and jostled a lot. Without these pin backs, the pins fell off if they were bumped the right way. But with them, the pins stay in place. The pin will break before the back comes undone—one of my pins actually did break, and the needle stayed in the backpack with the locking back. I’m not at all upset that the pin broke, because if I hadn’t had the backs on, the pin would have slid out of the backpack and been lost anyway. These pin backs are perfect for what I needed them for, but they can be a little difficult to remove. If I ever need to rearrange my pins, some of the backs stick pretty badly. I wouldn’t recommend the locking backs for something you plan on removing often, unless you have plenty of time to fight with the pin. Yes, it can be annoying in the moment that the pin back won’t come off, but ultimately it’s preferable to a weak locking back that could slide off and make me lose my pins. However, this issue seems to depend on the individual pin back—some of them are easy to remove, and some of them are more difficult. Either way, backs do their job well, and I haven’t had a single one fall off of the pin.

I have a travel bag that I collect pins on. The pin backs that those pins come with are usually junk. I decided to look into something better when I came across these! They work wonderfully! Length and size is great for all the pins I have collected so far from the various places I have traveled! Durability is good and the clasp works good! Now I’m not worried about losing my pins!

I am so glad that I ordered these. I have a set of pearl and rhinestone pins that you can use to cinch pant waistbands or shirts or that you can use as decorative additions to a sweater or hat. However, the backs kept falling off, so I haven't been able to risk wearing them. I am so happy that I stumbled on these because I tried them and they fit perfectly (the posts are too big for earring backings and require actual pin backings -- which these are) and really hold on tight. They are almost a little bit difficult to remove from the pin -- but just tug hard enough and they do come off. They are super secure once they are on though so now, I can wear my pins everywhere without fear that they will fall off! I tested several by putting them on and taking them off over and over to see if the grip would wear out -- and they held just as tightly the last time as the first. I am very happy with these and having 30 in the pack is great!

I use these when i wear my pins and they are great! I no longer worry about pins falling off and getting lost. Took me a bit of time to learn how to remove them but it is easy now. GREAT way to secure the pins you love!

once these actually grab hold they hold on great, but the backs themselves are a little frustrating at times to ensure they are actually fully latched on

The PERFECT solution to keep your pins where you want them.These pin backs lock on VERY well.I bought them for my granddaughter, who has lots of pins on her backpack.I also bought them for my wife, as she has quite a few on a jacket that she wears to concerts. She has quite the collection. Each pin has a story. They are very important to her.I am confident that NOBODY is going to lose a pin with these pin backs on. The only way they could lose a pin is if the actual pin part broke off.

Love these pin backs to hold Disney trading pins. They go on easily, but are a bit tricky to take off. Wouldn't use them for earrings as it would be way too hard to remove from the back of an ear. But they hold the trading pins on the lanyards, etc. very well - the pins can be pricey, and the regular backs aren't secure enough. These do the trick and are a good price for the number you get.
