Looks and works great
Installed easily and looks great. These handles seem to be enamel coated cast iron, which is far superior to the fragile porcelain ones I ordered previously (two separate orders arrived broken). Definitely worth it. I wish the flanges were a little longer and that it came with a seat wrench (you'll need a square ended one to install these, which I highly recommend doing...don't use new stems with old seats). Watched a YT video and did the replacement in less than an hour.

Measure your clearance!
This is a great kit. It includes everything you need and the instructions are crystal clear. However, the handles are long and our hot water handle hits the diverter handle when in the top position. Totally my fault since I didn’t measure first so I can’t blame the kit for that.

Nice, but needs longer chrome bezels.
I am very happy with the handles themselves. They look nice and are not chipped, etc. They are heavy -- seem to be real porcelain. You don't want to drop one of these in the bathtub - probably would chip the tub.Two issues. One is the mounting screws are too long. They bottom out in my original Price Pfister stems. That is not a big deal for a handyman, but I had to take a 3 inch cutoff wheel and shorten the screws by 3/8 inch before the handles would mount securely. A second, larger issue is the chrome bezels are too short. On two of my stems they just barely are adequate. On the third it is about 3/16 of an inch short, so there is an odd and ugly gap between the two chrome bezel pieces. The manufacturer could have spent about another nickel on metal and avoided this issue. The only way I see to resolve it is for me to open up my wall and move the valve assembly away from the wall inside. That could turn into quite a project! Cutting into the wall is one thing, but then the plumbing pipe is not going to want to move, etc. Again, the manufacturer could have avoided creating that problem for just a few pennies worth of metal. The chrome bezels need to be about 1/2 inch longer.I have not yet used the new valve stems provided, but they look pretty much identical to my original Price Pfister stems.

The Bad, The Good, The Poor Design
The BAD:First thing I noticed was poor packaging and by that I mean the entire parts areenclosed in hard plastic and there is no way to get the parts out except to destroy the package.Important ? Yes, if you wanted to return it.Second, the three long flanges are not finished properly on the back side, meaning that they canrust out pretty quick due to the poor plating process.Third, small chrome handle bases would not fit on to my old Pfister valves for some reason, so I hadto use the ones that came in the package. I had just rebuilt my old valves so I wasted my time and hadto pull them all out.The GOOD:The porcelain handles were excellent. They supplied a valve wrench even thoughI already had some. They did not supply a seat valve wrench for the seat valves. The POOR DESIGN:Danco missed the ball on this one. The small chrome handle bases are too short in length. They should have beenmaybe a 1/2" to 3/4" longer. Why? Because with these long stems they are short of covering the long flangeswell enough so there is no gap when the faucet is closed or opened. Mine barely cover the flange when closed and when opened, you can see the actual valve. This is a major flaw in their design of the small chrome handle bases. If they would have made thesehandle bases longer, it would have been a great fit.Enclosed pictures for everyone

Never was on correct
Its been an awful 4 years with these in place. Bought because they looked nice and was the right system. The handles didnt stay in their appropriate position as others have said- the end pieces were mismatched, and they never sat perfectly straight. Easy assembly, horrible disassembly since water gets through the handle and hard water build up inside

Good product, Good price
This product performs exactly as expected. For the price it is a good deal and adds nice class. The look is wonderful and a nice contrast to most plastic Pfister type handles. I fail to understand the complaints as all are easily remedied and I have yet to see Pfister type handles that look better. The issues with the screws being loose plagues all Pfister style handles, this can be very easily remedied by sparingly applying a thread-locking compound such as locktite. The porcelain is difficult to damage, as I dropped one of the handles 4 feet on to marble tile with no scratching! The only catch to installation is you will need a valve seat wrench which many people don't have in their home repair kits, and honestly it is for most people a one time use tool and best borrowed. Wolverine PST156 Tapered Faucet Seat Wrench I should say that replacing the valve seat is recommended but if they are in good working order, probably not necessary.I should not that if your valve body is quite close to the face of the tile, and the current handle project quite far, these may not work as there might be a gap in the handle, but in most properly tiled showers with 1/2" backerboard and thinset tile, this should not be an issue.

Damaged on Arrival
The hot and cold handles were both chipped right out of the box, which looked previously opened.
