This is not a really rule book, it's not a book full of theoretical informations about the game and team strategy. I think it's a typical american motivating book, this typical coaching stuff.Keep your goals in mind -> go work at it -> and you will manage it!This book is easy to handle, written easy to understand. Something to read on a long flight, touching all aspects on how to get better on your polo skills.In my opinion it's no book for absolutly beginners, it's a book for low goal players with some experiences and experienced players who will get better.But the really best of this new book is the fact that the author, Sunny Hale, is a really experienced player, a horsewoman who knows what she is talking about and she has a really good marketing group behind her, so her facebook is reacting inmediately on questions. I really appreciate this service. Sunny is a person she doesn't only want to earn money with this book, she really is interested in supporting the game of polo!!! I think that's more valuable than anything else in the world.And like all good american marketing concepts it's the first book of a polo serie, so later we can read every chapter more deeply :)

Fabulous!

Sunny Hale would have been the top female athlete in any sport she would have chosen. She has that intangible attribute that can only come from a lions heart combined with a humility that keeps her searching for ways to excel as a horseman and polo player. Her instructional book on polo is maybe the best written in the sport. It deals unique techniques dealing with mental approaches to the game that can apply to any sport. A truly entertaining read that deals with a colorful sport as well as the prime ingredient; the horse.

Very, very generalised. For example, feed a horse what is right for that horse, use a mallet you feel most confident with. Sunny has a wealth of experience and it was a great shame that this book was not more in depth.
