I use these things on all our outdoor faucets and hoses. Makes it much easier to remove or install a hose. I also use these in the cleaning port of my outboard motors to quickly attach a hose to it. The quality is good although they do tend to leak after a year or so of being outside.

New, so far haven't had much experience with these garden hose valves. There low cost encouraged me to double my order and allow me to put one at each end of a long hose .. big plus! Don't know how they will stand up when the weather near slight freezing. I wish they had a water realize valve on the side. A clean and trim product!

Having these on the end of my hose allows me to shut off the sprinker and clean it out. It is much easier for me to shut it off and the source, rather than running back and forth to the faucet to shut it off and on.For those that have to adjust and/or clean out their sprinklers this is a great investment.Have used these for 1 summer season and so far they are holding up well.

I live in the southwest where the water is hard and any type of metal fitting is useless within 2 or 3 months. The heat here is also well above 100 degrees almost ever day of the summer with brutal UV exposure, so I don't expect much longevity from plastic/pvc either. And I don't get much life from these fittings. But they are about the best value I've found for my use conditions. So I just toss them and replace them frequently.
