Wish I could give them 10 stars.
I sure really wish that I could because they sure are worth it. I'm speaking of both the product, and the seller when I say that. For some reason, ( I don't know why ) my package didn't show up. We have been getting a ton of snow, so who knows. I figured the snow would melt and I'd find the always very lightweight envelope on my porch or off the porch. That didn't happen. I let the seller know that it never showed up. I was not even 3 days later and I opened the door and there sat a box and the usual envelope that I get the eyeliners in.Sure enough, there they were, and I thought "How awesome of Paylessforretail ( the seller ) to resend them to me at no charge." I gotta double check that, but I'm sure that is exactly what they did after I notified them that I did not get them. That's so professional for a seller to do. I live on a street where I only have two neighbors, ( one elderly couple on one side, and a couple in their late 40's early 50's on the other side of me, with three adolescent kids, two in their teens and another 21 ) and one has lived by me for 20+ years, and the other for about 6. My point they would tell me if they got it by accident. My bigger point is that the seller didn't even give me the problem that some sellers do, which is "Walk your neighborhood. Ask all your neighbors." Look again. Put up lost signs with a picture of the item on it and your phone number." ( Okay, that last sentence was a joke, but you get it ) I am no stranger to getting packages, so anytime that has happened ( this was the first time in this case, with this seller, and it likely wasn't even their fault but I had to let them know because I paid them, and it don't matter at all because the seller fixed it like pronto ) it's a pain to get that rundown from a seller, like I don't know how it goes with looking for a package. They just flat out resent the items. I got them I believe in 3 days, including the day I let them know I didn't receive them.I'd recommend both the seller and these eyeliners. I didn't have any eyeliners except junk ones, ( I was out of these, which is not a good thing, since I'm addicted to these eyeliners ) and when I started applying one of these and the ease of application and the darkness of the black highlights which make them so awesome appeared I said to myself right away that there's not a better eyeliner out there that compares, and if one comes close it sure don't beat the cost of these, and please never stop selling these, because the seller can't be beat just like the eyeliner's quality can't be either.I know it don't seem silly to anyone, because we all know how much we like that deep black, and the smoothness of application. I'm sure we all like the price too. There are many "high end" eyeliners that don't compare to these at all. They are hard and dry, brittle and easily cause eye splinters, and aren't that dark.Worth it in every way. The seller knows how to treat us right, and Loreal knows how to make a good eyeliner.**Every once in awhile when sharpening you have to be careful how hard you hold it at the top so it don't snap. That's happened to me. They sharpen easily, so no need to do it for a long time of hold it real tight. There's no way I'm taking any stars off for that. I'm sure the seller would fix that though if it happened, especially if it happened often and was reported.Thank you for reading my review on my latest experience, and how this seller took care of it.

My Absolute Favorite
If you read my other reviews, you might notice that they are mostly 5 star reviews. I usually only review products that I feel really strongly about it. With that being said, I've been using this eyeliner for a little bit over 2 years. I've used SO many different black eyeliners and while some of the ones I've used in the past were very good, they still do not compare to L'oreal's Extra Intense Carbon Black Eyeliner. My eye area is pretty moist and I had a bad history of starting the day in the AM with perfectly lined eyes, ending the day in the PM with raccoon eyes. While I would tell you everything I've used for your benefit, all the bad liners I've used in the past were not at all memorable, so I will quickly review a short list of eyeliners I actually used which I would recommend for specific reasons. The list is as follows:- Revlon Colorstay Liquid Liner in Blackest Black: very good good, somewhat drying and stings if you have sensitive eyes. Lasts all day long but the color itself fades somewhat. It's also somewhat tear proof as long as you're not at a funeral or crying an entire river. A user of this product for about 3 years.- Prestige Waterproof Eyeliner: an excellent option for the lower eyes - it really lasts all day long but the pencil does not glide very easily. If you are looking to do a cat eye or winged eye, it will not work with this pencil. A user of this product for about 7 years (and I still use it once in a while on my lower lids).- Lancome Artliner: very smooth application and easy to apply if you have a steady hand. The finish looks absolutely perfect. However, like Revlon, it does slightly fade in the day. A user of this product for about a year.- MAC Fluidlines in Blacktrack: using a separate brush, doing a cat-eye or winged-eye is super easy. However, this black is not the blackest black. Sadly, MAC is not the best brand to rely on when you are looking for an intense black. Used for 1 year.- Sephora Long Lasting 12HR Wear Eye Liner in 01 Matte-Black Black: the color payoff is excellent. A true raven pitch black. Sadly, the matte look makes your eyes look really dry. In reality, I think the formula DOES dry out your eyes as I see fine lines on my lids. This I am NOT fond of. Used for about 3 weeks.Pros of L'Oreal Extra Intense Eyeliner Carbon Black:- Easy to glide so you do not need a very steady hand like you would for liquid liners- Color payoff is excellent: super pigmented and extremely black- Sponge tip makes a winged-eye achievable- Especially when sharpening the pencil prior to application, the eyeliner actually does look like a liquid finish (precise, smooth, and sharp edges)- Affordable (and the second cheapest out of the list of other eyeliners mentioned previously)Cons:- You have to sharpen frequently- Has a slightly shorter life than other eyeliner pencilsI have been buying this pencil at Target since I discovered a couple years ago but now purchase it from Amazon. Even though Amazon sells it for only 20 cents cheaper, I let Amazon dividends collect since I have the Amazon.com Credit Card. It pays off!

Perfect Liner for the waterline or as a dark shadow base but it's a meh eyeliner
This pencil eyeliner is not for the faint of heart. It is so soft and creamy and the pigmentation is unmatched in my opinion. I wear contacts and also have very watery eyes, but I'm on my second pencil, using this almost exclusively in the waterline. It doesn't budge when I wear it in my upper waterline with my daily makeup (except when I fall asleep with my makeup on, it will certainly budge from the warmth and moisture when my eyes are closed). I have found because the pencil is so soft that it's very blendable and great for when I really want to do a dramatic eye look with a dark shadow. The shadows cling well to the liner and makes it just that much better. I find that using it straight from the pencil as a liner will not result in a clean, crisp line, but if I blend it out, it's not a problem. I treat it like gel liner and use a liner brush to apply it, which works perfectly for me; using it straight as a pencil will result in almost immediate smudging, but again, I do not use it in that way. I don't find that this product smudges on my lids, but I do not have oily lids, however, I always wear an eyeshadow, whether it is colored or just nude. I will definitely continue to purchase this.

Very Pigmented Black Eyeliner
I’ve always liked L’Oréal eye pencils and mascara. This eye pencil is very black, creamy, and looks beautiful. However, applying it to the water line causes it to smudge and build up in the tear duct which doesn’t particularly bother me as I tend to use a Qtip to clean it up throughout the day. I wouldn’t recommend applying it on the eyelid if you have any kind of overlapping, creasing or oily skin unless you are going for a smudged look.To be real it’s hard to find any eye pencil that sits in place all day! I’m happy with my purchase :)
