Incredible Durability and Quality.
Before buying this, I did some research around Amazon and found that most balisong trainers have an issue with the screws coming loose, as well as some major durability problems. I have to say after a month of heavy usage, that this item does not have these issues. I have learned a numerous amount of tricks, with the expected amount of dropping on the ground, flinging against a wall, and slipping out of fingers and falling down the stairs that would be associated with a beginner trying to figure out complicated rollovers and twirls. After all of the abuse, the balisong still held its structure. That alone was satisfactory. However, This balisong then had to suffer from me teaching many friends how to do tricks with the balisong, leading to the expected amount of dropping. flinging, and slipping described above, only about 6 more times. Now, as I type this, the only issues with the balisong are very minor. The only negative things so far is that the latch that normally closes the balisong is now too long to keep the handles together; the metal on the handles that collide upon opening and closing has worn down, causing the handles to come together closer than when purchased. Furthermore, if I lay down the balisong on a table and pick it up by one of the handles, the handle will lift about 1/3rd of a centimeter above the other handle before the other handle is lifted.Overall, besides the two minor issues described above and minor scratches and dings, the quality of this item amazes me. Its one piece construction avoids any issues with the handles becoming too loose, and the quality of the metal withstands countless collisions against concrete, walls, and stairs. This balisong definitely is worth the money if one is interested in learning balisong tricks.

This trainer is really good. It keeps up very well it comes with a good quality pouch, the shipping is okay, the design is flawless, it's bigger and heavier them out looks in the picture for sure, you'll have to get used to the weight, it flips smoothly, basically no wiggle maybe the handles, just a little bit but nothing you will notice, you will have to get used to the weight and my only issue is that the blade gets stuck to the safe handle but while flipping this will be almost no problem, and the latch is spring operated and is very good all though it will hurt your fingers opening it if you do it to much. The blade is Nice all though it's a trainer the whole thing is sturdy and very well built but this I'd a fake n bench made, bench made is upwards of $300, this is $10 it comes in the box of a bench made but it is not. This trainer does not feel like it will break any time soon, and the pouch to holster it I'm is very well stitched.

Best Balisong trainer I've had except for maybe a benchmade!
Best Balisong trainer I've ever handled it was only $13 when I bought it but even at $30 I'd say it's worth it. The captured pins hold very well and because it has captured non exposed pins it makes this very durable. Well at least a lot more durable then every other Balisong trainer I've messed with. Besides maybe a benchmade but then your into. 2-300 dollar trainer and that kind of defeats the purpose. With this you can flip it all damn day and when you drop it you know it's going to hold and even if it does break it's not like your taking a huge bath. I would strongly recommend this to anybody looking to learn the art of the Balisong or butterfly knife it's fun and awesome.

this is a very good practice butterfly knife and i always flip it every day. but the description of the product is misleading and that bugs me a lot. it doesn't look like the pictures at all except for the dragon design on the handles. but it does take a beating and it looks great (mind that the screws to tighten it are a pain to tighten). i would buy it again if i was given the choice, but dont go into buying this because of the looks. its durable and that is what i needed for a practice knife, so im happy with it

Its Very Good, And nice for flipping
Its Very Good, And nice for flipping, since this is my first balisong, but there is only one issue that i have had with this (keep in mind I've had it for a day). the latch is very weird, and i cant connect it without having to press the latch agents a hard surface, like a desk. this is because of the tang pin. it interferes with the handles, and makes it hard to shut the latch. besides that, no complaints.Update: i have had this thing for two weeks, and there was a new problem. Yesterday i was flipping, and it fell, but the latch snapped off. It also gets handel play very easy, and I wouldnt buy this again

I searched around and found that this was the best price and fast shipping for the item itself it is very durable and has a nice weight to it feels like the real thing but the blade is just dull great for practicing and would recommend this to others to buy for sure. Seems like it has some quality to it for sure because it is not made poorly it can fall a few times and doesn't break like others mention that there is have him drop in

Great first knife
It's a good trainer for beginners (like me). It feels natural, not ungainly, but it's not as light as some knives. (AKA vastly more expensive knives.) I like that it has a spring-loaded catch, but I don't like that's it's pretty tight and tough to flick open.Basically: If you're not sure if this whole butterfly knife thing is for you, then I endorse this as a good way to find out. If you're going to go on the world tour or something you'll eventually want something expensive...but you don't know if you're headed that way yet.
