Kärcher FC 3 Cordless Hard Floor Cleaner

Arrived sooner than expected and very simple to assemble. Had the bigger 240v one, this was heavy and tended to fall over if you didn't put it back in the holder correctly. This is so much lighter and easy to use, pick it up, take it to the area you wish to clean and off you go. No swapping plug sockets or lugging around heavy, may I say industrial equipment. It does all my flat floors in one charge and although being a little slower than the original 240v one, gives me the same result. The floor is slightly wetter as it is not a vacuum cleaner aswell, if you empty it and remove the water tank, you can very quickly dry the floor and polish it. Takes a while to charge but who wants to wash floors all day, plug it in and it will stop automatically when fully charged. The charge level is bright and easy to read, when you are down to about 4mins of charge left, the indicator flashes, so it doesn't just stop unexpectedly. Spare rollers can be stored on the base stand and the dirty ones can go straight in the washing machine at 60°c. Ideal floor cleaner for your home.

Overall, this floor cleaner works well. Assembly was easy except connecting the handle shaft. It is a very tight fit and in the end needed vaseline to make it slide into position. The two small reservoirs which collect the dirty water do their job, but they fill up quickly. The fresh water tank is only half empty when the dirty water starts to overflow onto the floor. As long as you know this, and empty these two small tanks in time, you will not have a problem. The cleaner is quick to use and does not leave too much water on the floor, which is important for a wood floor. However it would not be much use if you have large areas of hard floors to clean.

Having just had wood floors laid throughout our downstairs I wanted a cleaner that didn't take up a lot of room, was cordless, lightweight, easy to use and went right to the edges of the rooms. This cleaner fits this requirement perfectly. Its easy to fill with water and easy to remove then dirty water. The rollers can be removed easily too so they can be washed. I would recommend purchasing some spare rollers though. The best thing about this cleaner is that although it uses water to clean, it doesn't leave loads of water on the floor, which means the floor is dry in minutes. I would definitely recommend.

I bought this 2.5 years ago. It cleans ok it started leaking. After fiddling with the washer on the bottle it stopped. I went to use it 2wks ago and no power. I bought a new Karcher charger £26! But again would not charge. I called Karcher and was told the battery was dead. I asked how much for a new battery as the product is not fit for use! They told me they do not sell replacement batteries!!!!! I will own up I didn't use it weekly more like twice a month. It has not been over used. I paid over £200 and it doesn't last and now fit for the tip. I won't be buying Karcher again. I will buy a new Air Craft mop.

Bought this to keep our laminate flooring clean in all (4 plus hallway) our downstairs rooms. It is superb. Easy to use, simple to clean and does a tip top job on the laminate floors. The rollers are easy to get off and you just pop them in the washing machine to clean them. All-in-all very pleased with the Karcher hard floor cleaner.

Although relatively lightweight and easy to clean, disappointing overall result on floor. Having previously had the corded version, which was very effective, I thought I would try the cordless version. There is very little transference of water from the clean reservoir to the used, dirty reservoir. The floor is left streaky.

Really happy with this purchase. Our newly laid off white stone flooring is clean again! We have a black lab so a good test as she leaves muddy footprints often. Need to hoover floor first...mainly dog fur. I have arthritis in my hands which makes it little difficult sometimes. Husband is happy to use it. Like to say it doesn't leave the floor wet and able to walk over it after 5mins.

It lightweight and very simple to use; cleans even stubborn marks off the kitchen floor through the rotating action, without needing to scrub. And the floor is dry within a minute. The reason I gave a 4 and not a 5 is that it takes quite a long time to charge after it's run down but if you're only washing the floor once a day or at either end of the day then this wouldn't matter.
