Jack's Magic The Purple Stuff Size: 32 Ounce

After getting rid of stains in our salt water pool we put this in every Sunday and it's kept the stains away!

We add this to our 15k gallon inground saltwater pool twice per year. It is part of our regular regimen that keeps metals and staining at bay. Wish it was a bit cheaper, as all it is is phosphoric acid.

Works great. Use on stains in pool and on the steps. We use all the time.

Only after buying and pulling up bar code did I find that the water must be over 65 degrees and that the treatment takes two weeks and requires two more chemicals plus mutation acid .

My cloudy pool water was driving me crazy. I had tried multiple products that Leslie's pool supply recommended, which did nothing noticeable. Finally, I remembered the previous owner of my house mentioned that he used this Purple stuff. I have a 26K gallon salt water pool, and one bottle of this stuff made my water look so much better. After seeing the amazing results, I immediately purchased another bottle for maintenance.

I switched to using the purple stuff instead of the pink stuff since it was suggested that it was better for salt pools. This product only introduced a lot of phosphates to my pool, significantly clouding the water and slowing down my chlorine generator. I never had this issue with the pink stuff, and I should never have switched. I would have returned this product, but I have already used more than half the product based on the start-up instructions. Time will tell if it has sequestered the metals in the pool.

Pool looks brand new. Dissolved all stains immediately. Amazing!!!

Works as intended, but you have to keep adding more each week or couple week to keep sequester levels in range. It becomes very expensive over the course of a year, so there has to be a better way.
