40 minutes install, perfect match, saved me a bunch
Mirrors break. Sometimes their housings and motors break too. What are you going to do? You could spend a bundle at the dealership (which wanted $150 just for the part) or you can do it yourself.Delivery was prompt. The mirror was a perfect fit on my 2006 Civic, but it was black. I used part of the plastic bag it was wrapped in inside its box to cover the mirror surface, then sprayed the housing with a automotive paint spray I also found on Amazon to match the color. It went on completely smooth. No splotches, no problem. It perfectly matches the other mirror now.The motor is a little noisier than the original. Not much.I hope to never need to buy another one of these, but if you need one I recommend it. I'm so glad I did it this way. There are no installation instructions included. That was an unpleasant surprise. Still, it wasn't difficult. If your car is just like mine, (your mileage may vary, I assume no liability for anything you do with this review) you'll need:10mm socket (long extension) (or drill bit)Flathead screw driverPhillips head screw driver (or drill bit)Scissors (not strictly necessary)Do the painting first. There are only two hidden screws.- One is under a cover behind the door handle. Pop the cover off with the Flathead screwdriver and remove the screw- The other is underneath the door control panel. There's a little tab in the handle that you can pry up with the Flathead screwdriver. You will not be disconnecting any of the exposed wires, but remove the screw.I began popping the door panel off at the bottom. Do this gently and carefully, there are delicate plastic connectors that may break if you are too forceful. You'll want them intact to reattach the door panel. Once you disconnect them all the whole panel can slide up, disconnecting it from the door except for the wires for the electronics and cables to the locks. There are two rubber gaskets just behind where the mirror connects. One is always visible even when the panel is attached, the other should now be exposed. Pull them both out. Peel back the plastic sheet, and you're ready to begin removing the old mirror.Remove the 10mm nuts holding it in place (you'll need them later), disconnect the connector, thread the wire out through the hole (it may have a clip you need to disconnect, this is where I used the scissors but I could have popped it out) and your old mirror is history.Thread the new wire through the door (being careful to go around the window channel, not through it, or your window won't roll down anymore), reattach the nuts, plug in the electric connector, and you should be able to do an operational test of the motor now. If it works, great! If not, you may have other issues that I can't troubleshoot.Reverse the door panel steps to reconnect it. If you didn't break the plastic connectors it should all go back on easily.(The trim from my window disconnected partially. It's easy to reconnect, no tools required.)I budgeted the whole morning and afternoon for this repair, but not counting painting it the whole process only took about 40 minutes without rushing. That includes the time taken to figure the entire thing out, locate all of my tools, and prevent my toddler from "helping" me by humoring him for a few minutes before handing him off to his mother. I'm handy, but I'm no mechanic. Still, it was easy.Good luck!

As described
Original equipment so naturally fit perfectly.Had to have painted to match- but that was no problem as other damage being repaired at the same time

I have a 16 year old driver so this is the 2nd one I've bought....
This is the second time I have bought this mirror replacement, once for each daughter. It is easy to install and works as it should. Now if I could get my teen drivers to use the mirror when backing up so they don't hit it on the side of the garage door opening, I will be all set!

Great value
Perfect match. 2007 Honda civic ex. Easy install. Needed paint but was quick and simple. Saves money by doing it yourself. Power mirror is responsive but does have a higher audible sound. Not a real issue. Don't notice when in the car or in motion. Worth the money and would buy again.

Works well, fairly easy replacement, more of a matte finish
Fairly easy replacement for a busted up mirror taken out by a buck that ran into the side of my car. Lucky for me, the mirror was the main source of damage. Install was fairly easy, and the mirror functions well. (I didn't know how much I used my mirror until it was gone.) My only disappointment was that the mirror was in a matte finish, while my car is more of a gloss finish. So, if you look at it for a minute, it stands out. Since I have nearly 300,000 miles on my civic, I don't really care that much...
