Earth: Final Conflict (Season 1 - 5)

I love this series. After more than 20 years when I just was able to see until the middle of second season I am really excited by having now the whole 5 seasons!Only major downside is:- No english subtitles at all and no subtitles in spanish.I am bilingual so, no issues, but it is always good to have subtitles available.

Great series, glad to be able now to see the complete series. When I first watched this on TV it was very random on what day and time slot it played in, seemed it was mostly after midnight and because of that missed much of the series. The discs are DVDs and as such it is DVD quality, arrived in good condition with no scratches and so far plays just fine (half way through season 2). Would loved to had this on Bluray.

Very mixed feelings about this series. I am a big Roddenberry fan and had seen the first season on Netflix, but the last four seasons are only available by buying the DVDs. This was OK with me because I have a complete Roddenberry collection.The writing gets a 4 instead of a 5 and is not up to the same standard as Star Trek. This is a Canadian/German production and the actors are trained and professional. The sets and costumes are typical sci-fi cheese, but I love that.There are 22 episodes per season and they finish the story arc. (Hurray! REAL seasons, not one those leave-you-hungry pitiful 12 episode runs.) The last four episodes of season 5 look like Andy Warhol got hold of the original material. It is distracting at first, but I could "filter" it out and ignore it (mostly). There are no subtitles.Despite the subpar production values, and the herky-jerky scripting and casting (plot is all over the place and quite the wild ride and the cast plays musical chairs), it is still Roddenberry with his hopeful and evolutionary view of humanity. I need Roddenberry's optimism in my life. Don't we all?

Thrilled to finally have the entire series and the price was incredibly cheap!!! Only small complaint is that there are no special features on these newer re-released versions. Regardless these are well worth purchasing even if you already own one or more seasons (like I do) as you will not find the separate seasons you are missing for a cheaper price and can always sell or give away the ones you already own.

well worth the wait...I loved this series

nearly every season a main character quit/ 'died'..about 3 or 4 different alien species that pop in an out of the story line and died off, boring.i remember most of the episodes and when it came to season 5, much like the tone of the show, it was on its last legs and the last new alien was ineffectual. this was exactly where i stopped watching when it was on the air. you have already seen 4 other species die off you know how this was gonna end up.laced in there was roddenberry's signature human condition plots, but the changing up of the story and rotating cast.Skip season 5..there are also a few slips in the disc order, especially season 4

Very interesting if should ever happen and factions occur.

The first four seasons were well acted, will directed, well written, intriguing, interesting and entertaining.... the fifth season was terrible! The fifth season was nothing but violence violence violence violence. If you write a good show, have a good staff acting it out, with some decent direction, you don't have to fill it up with the violence, you can entertain without smut... I kept the first four seasons but threw the fifth season away.

Fabulous sci-fi series, aliens come to earth offering advanced technology and are welcomed, but they may have a hidden agenda. Resistance groups and technology whizzes try to keep up with what aliens may be doing, both on and off planet. Character based, but excellent special effects when needed. Bare bones dvds, no scene selection or subtitles choices, languages just english or french.

I’ve bought this collection based on the fact that the company name was DMI Media Europe and the languages are mentioned as English and French ... but the company is based in the USA and is in fact selling region 1 discs without mentioning this clearly

Best series ever. Has to be watched in order start to finish. I recommend watching two everyday.

かなり前にシーズン1だけCSで放映され、長年打ち切りされたものと思っていましたが、続いており、国内版はソフト化されていないことを知り、こちらを見つけて購入しました。VHSでの録画と見比べても相当綺麗で満足ですが、やはり字幕など一切ないので、最後まで観れるか心配です。

Comme indiqué dans le titre, la série est de bonne qualité, bon temps de traitement de la part du vendeur. Niveau DVD en eux-mêmes, et ce n'est pas la faute du vendeur, c'est qu'il n'y a aucuns sous-titre, ni en français, ni en anglais, et il n'y a que les saisons 1 à 3 en français.
