Need to wash twice
This product is a good idea and worked quite well but didn't fully dissolve in the wash. I couldn't remove the balled-up product from inside my quilt after the first wash. I expect it will come out after I run it through a second time.

I can needle-turn appliqué now! Love it!
I can finally do a cheater, easier version of needle-turn applique! I have struggled with needle turn applique and finally just gave it up out of frustration. A friend of mine showed me these applique sheets and made it possible for me. I have already reordered more and will continue to do so. This is so easy to use because I can just iron it onto the fabric them turn and glue! After doing all that work, it made me really nervous to hand wash it to soften up the applique sheet and wash away the glue, but it worked great and ironed out really well.Hints: make sure you use Elmer glue sticks that are washable to attach the fabric. Buy a Tupperware orange peeler, on Amazon of course, and use it to press down the fabric you are turning and gluing to the back of the appliqué. I bought a multi pack of the orange peelers and are giving them to friends that do appliqué and just incase I misplace one or the cat decides it is a great cat toy!Look how great it worked on this project!

Excellent product for turned edge applique and EPP
I am somewhat frustrated with the negative reviews when it is obvious this product was not used for the purpose it was intended. This product is NOT meant to be removed. This product is not meant to be used for the applique technique where the back fabric is cut away underneath the applique. This product is meant to stay inside the english paper piecing or applique with the back fabric left intact. Most of it dissolves in first washing and becomes quite soft. There are so many ways to do applique and we need to make sure we get the right tools for our unique method. I love this paper for so many reasons. I found it easier then using freezer paper for prepared edge and used less glue pen. Saves money on glue. This paper gives the applique a bit more stability and as one reviewer stated it makes fussy cutting much easier. I am using this product on my granddaughters quilt which has tons of appliqued leaves.

I like to do invisible machine applique for quilting using freezer ...
I like to do invisible machine applique for quilting using freezer paper, but now that I have tried this I am ditching the freezer paper! The fusible on this makes it a little stiffer than the Sharon Schamber interfacing I tried and didn't like because of its very soft edge.Instead of a glue stick, I like to use a Scotch adhesive dot roller Scotch Adhesive Dot Roller Value Pack .31 Inches x 49 Feet, 4-Pack (6055BNS) . It's faster and doesn't make my fingers gummy. I work on getting just the edge turned under, then flatten later with my iron. Gives me a very nice smooth edge in very little time and eliminates the step of removing the backing fabric. Thanks to this product and the Scotch roller, I can finally get more of my applique quilts finished!

Great for prepared edge applique
I have used several stabilizer products to make turned edge applique pieces. This is my favorite. The 8.5 x 11 sheets may not be as economical as stabilizer on a roll but it is very handy that they feed through the printer easily. The fusible on one side works well and saves a step in the preparation process. The paper is firm & gives a nice edge to turn the fabric against. There are 20 sheets per package (not 25 as stated somewhere in the title or description).

Not quite as advertised.
I haven't opened the package yet but the picture and title of the listing clearly show 25 pieces. I received a package clearly marked as 20 pieces.

Doesn't wash away
I bought this product to try with my appliqué. It prints fine in ink jet, just make sure you print the right side. It fuses well to fabric. The only problem I had is the washing out part. The stiffener washes away but not the paper or fusible glue. I first appliquéd a piece of fabric per directions by machine on a scrape square of fabric. Then washed in washer. It was softer but bulk of paper was still there. I then fused to back of a piece of fabric & washed in washer with a load of towels with the back exposed. Most of paper was still there. While wet I scraped with fingernail & found glue (fusible) was still there too. Nice idea but didn't work for me. I wanted it all to dissolve away. I don't want to leave that unknown stuff in a quilt that I take all that time to make.

Works great
I almost always use this product for my appliqué work. It works like a charm and after one time in the washing machine it is completely dissolved. The only problem is with the amount of sheets in the package: it says (or maybe it's corrected, don't know) 25 but there are actually 20 in the package.

Highly recommended
I am new to applique and have previously tried other methods to make my pieces. This product is by far the best I have tried. So simple to use with very good results. Shall use all the time from now on.
