I've purchased these coasters before, and was replacing a very well-used set with fresh ones. I've also gotten these from the Metropolitan Museum of Art.These coasters are the only kind I use because they do what they are designed to do: they are stable, don't slide around even if you drip a little liquid onto them, the top surface isn't slippery like so many other coasters, the bottom is also non-slide. They are large enough to set a big coffee mug on, with surface area to spare all around the mug, so no danger of slipping off the edge. Not to mention that they are extremely pleasant to look at on a daily basis. They can be sponged off and kept cleanI also use the large size as a mouse pad - the best mouse pad and again my favorite. It is enjoyable to use, it's the best for functionality, artistic designd, and holds up well.

I accidentally ordered some other ones and had to return them immediately, I was so disappointed in myself for my grievous error.Very thick (THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT LINE IN THIS DUMB REVIEW, AND WHY THESE ARE BETTER THAN ALL THE OTHERS), and very nicely printed (or however they make them look the way they do). The metropolitan set is pretty cool if you’re looking for some variety.That is all. This review is too long as it is. Great coasters. Work well to protect surfaces and look better than traditional coasters.

I knew I would love these when they caught my eye, and after reading the reviews, I had to buy them. They are flexible and have a soft ‘rug’ texture to touch. The actual ‘carpet’ coaster area is 4 ¼ by 3 ½ inches. The height is 1/8th inch. Perfect size for coffee mugs. The rubber backing keeps the coasters from moving when any weight is on them, as well as keeping moisture and scratches off the table. It is not warm enough right now for condensation, so I put a few drops of water on the coaster. The smaller drops absorbed, just not instantly, but the surface tension also kept them from rolling off the coaster when I tipped it. An added bonus, I don’t have to put them away - ever, they are so beautiful to look at that I can use them for decoration when they are not being used as coasters, or just leave them to dress up the table.

I first brought one of the MouseRugs for my office while shopping at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC. It looked so good on my desk, I then brought this set so I'd have the matching coaster. The remaining coasters looked so classy in my living room that I'm going to buy a second set for my nighstands. They also make fantastic gifts. And they do not budge once you put them down. Really nice product, really nice price.

These look just like a mini carpet. So pretty. My only complaint is that they have rubber on the bottom so they do not budge one bit. If you want to move a glass you have to be careful because you can't do it by sliding the coaster. My husband found out the hard way. I do think they are so pretty.

These are the cutest little coasters from the Met. I purchased my first set from an art gallery in Florida while on vacation, then 2 more sets once I arrived back home. Gave one set as a gift and the recipient was equally thrilled with them. Everyone comments positively on them. They are non-skid, and absorbs all of the moisture from the bottom of the glass which easily come free from the coaster every time you pick up a cool but sweaty glass. They clean easily as well. Excellent product, WANT MORE!! THEIR SO CUTE!
