Nice netting and it's better than nothing.
Works but need to put bright strings on so birds don't get caught in it. Only happened once but that was bad enough. Will keep birds out but not beetles.

Real Problem Solver
We decided to start a small garden. We have birds of many varieties, lizards, and rabbits. I went to the local hardware store and bought some really sturdy deer fencing. It was difficult to cut and install and looked pretty terrible. The very next day, our new seedling were gone. In fact, one lizard was trapped inside the fence. I repaired and modified this system all to no avail. Then I found this netting. It worked perfectly. It was easy to unroll and spread open. We don't even need to full width of the netting, so I cut it shorter with a standard pair of scissors. My latest version looks more like a lean-to and works perfectly. I'm holding down the bottom of the net with PVC pipe. That makes it easy to pick up to access my garden. My space is only 5 feet wide. The length is closer to 15 feet. This was a ton of netting and I've used a small sample of it. But look at the price! My deer fencing that didn't work and was very ugly cost me $80!!! Did I mention? No critters have invaded since I installed this netting.

Keeps the birds off my cherry tree
I planted a cherry tree a couple of years ago. In the first year, we only had a couple of hands full of fruit. Or more correctly, we had a couple of beaks full since every single cherry was snarfed by our feathered friends. So last year, I put this netting over the tree and, while we still didn't get a lot of fruit (seems it takes a few years) we did beat the birds to it.It is a bit tricky to get the netting over the tree, which is only about 7' tall (so far). But the difficulty is simply due to the interaction of netting and tree branches. Can't imagine any other product would be easier. This was inexpensive and easy to trim to size so I do recommend it.

No birds harmed!!!
I will admit that I was terrified after reading the reviews for this product where people had actually found birds harmed in this netting. I have a multitude of hummingbirds, and various other varieties of birds that call my property home. I would be sick if I found any birds harmed by this netting. The biggest culprit of the eating of my raspberries are robins...and then swallows. There were enough reviews that did not mention any harm done to wildlife so I decided to give it a go with the understanding that I would never forgive myself if I was making a fatal mistake. I bought the netting and covered my raspberries with it. Not ONE bird was harmed and as a matter of fact I never even saw a bird go near the netting! After the berry season was over...I was able to fold the netting up and put it away to be reused next year...and I will!

Unfortunately not a good experience. Maybe I'm just an idiot.
I wanted to protect the cherries from the crows. This came with no instructions and I just draped it over the tree, hanging freely at the bottom. A smaller bird got up underneath and then was freaking out trying to fly away; that was relatively easy to fix by opening up one side and securing (most of) the bottom after he had gone. The next day, what I thought was a leaf in the bottom of the net was a sparrow who had wedged himself halfway through the net and hung upside down for I don't know how long. I had to glove up and cut him loose, first from the whole net so I could get to the table, and then from the smaller portion still wrapped around him. Since I did not set out to injure/stress birds, I just took the whole shebang off the tree and put it away. I don't think they'll let me send it back with a sparrow sized hole cut in it. So beware, you have to scoop up the bottom and secure it around the trunk of the tress lest you want some adventures like I had.

Bird Problem Solved!
I purchased the PetiDream Invisible Garden Netting for my cherry tree. I put the netting all around my tree for the last 2-3 weeks because the cherries were ripening. No more bird problems. I just removed the netting today and picked my cherries. It worked great. I can reuse the net for next year, no damage to the net. FYI - I had a few really bad wind and rain storms come through the tree and net was fine. FYI - I did wrap the netting around the cherry tree then I sealed the overlapping's of the net with twist ties about 6-8. Sorry no pictures I forgot. It took about 15 minutes to set up, take down was about 5-10 minutes. Next time setup should be quicker. Picking my cherries priceless and tart!

Great Bird Netting
I have purchased many different types of netting only to get annoyed at how hard it is to place on and around my lemon tree. This one is an exception. It was very easy but I did have my daughter to help me stretch to go around the tree. Covered more than what I needed so save the rest for next year. It will be interesting to see if as easy coming off as it went on. So far I would purchase again just for the ease of putting it on.

Works
I bought this to put over my pots. The black crows were brutally murdering my plants and completely digging up the soil. I had put tin foil over them, as some websites suggested, but that only seemed to antagonize the birds. I wrapped this around all of my pots 1-2 times for good measure and they haven't been messed with since. A little goes a long way and I have lots of left over for next season.
