NauticaVoyage N-83 Eau de Toilette Spray, 3.3/3.4 Fl Oz

Purchased for my husband. Discovered this fragrance at the outlet, so glad we found it. Love that it was for the larger size bottle. Great spray! Love the freshness of the scent. Highly recommend.

Like it much better than Classic, Blue, or Voyage. It's brighter and citric, like 4711. Voyage is intriguing for its saline character, but this is more pleasant smelling to me. I think it's somewhere between 4711 and Azzaro Chrome in its sensibilities- there is a longevity to it, and the characteristic "marine scent" (much to the dismay of Voyage fans) is diminished. There is a strong nutmeg note, and the scent as a whole can be cloying if over-applied.Update: I've realized why I like it- it has an edge to it, like the original Voyage, but it isn't as potentially nauseating. This may be why some think it is weak. It actually has good longevity, and I enjoy wearing it in cooler weather with my double breasted wool navy pea coat. They seem to be a perfect match. I've got other colognes for hot weather.UPDATE: having worn this a few more times, I think I have deduced the raison d'etre for this cologne...It is an aquatic musk. I like to think of it as a flanker to Jovan Musk (also by coty) but instead of carnations and cinnamon , n83 has aquatic notes along with cardamom and nutmeg. It was released to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the business debut of the Nautica company; to that end, it is a very elegant bottle: the semi-circular shape of the bottle and metallic capstan - shaped cap, borrowed from Voyage original.. A beautiful Silk screen of a nautical map and purple color to the juice make it beautiful to look at.

IMHO this is the best in the voyage line that I have tried.Nautica classic aka Nautica Nautica is very underwhelming in terms of performance. I normally wear it out of the shower.Nautica Voyage smells like cucumber and basil to me. I get no green apple. Smells like straight up cucumber water.Nautica N-83 is the best I’ve tried. Fresh, clean, slightly minty and musky. This is what I rock as my easy dumb reach. Everyone likes it, never had a bad comment.Spray it strong, your gonna get 4-5 hours. If I spray my jacket/clothes I get a bit more, and can smell it the next day.For the price, value, and most importantly scent. N83 is my favorite from the line.

Clean scent, citrus scent that’s fresh. Wear it to work

Ok so I'll do my best to describe. First and foremost this is an aquatic sent with a strong alcohol opening, very boozy. As it drys down after 15 minutes or so the alcohol dies down and your left with something very similar to Tommy Bahama very cool cologne with a larger hint of spice making it a little more masculine and what smells to be made for instead of a teenager were talking a fresh scent for someone 30s and up. You cant go wrong with this scent for everyday wear at the office. It's not loud and obtrusive it's clean and just the right amount of silage to not overpower your coworkers. For the price I paid for this I prefer it to Tommy Bahama and that's saying a lot because I really like their offerings for a every day cologne. This isn't your night out on the town cologne don't get me wrong. The ladies will like this one and so will you. Put a spray or 2 on your pulse points and enjoy a great sent for the money.

This is a great smell for everyday use. It has a great clean scent with just a hint of something extra beneath the surface. I have seen N-83 referred to as the "evening" counter balance to the "day time" Voyage, but I don't believe that to be the case. Regular Nautica Voyage, to me, smells like a very good soap that stays with you after a shower (crisp and clean); Nautica Voyage N-83 builds on top of that with a stronger baseline smell that has a nice touch of masculinity to it, but doesn't do too much to where it becomes too complex or overpowers the simple freshness of it.Out in the dry desert of Las Vegas in an office setting, 4 sprays (2 on neck, 1 on each wrist) seems to give me roughly a 2 foot smell radius for 5 hours give or take an hour. After that it stays with me for 6 more hours, but doesn't radiate off me unless there is some perspiration to reactivate it. Also, I work mostly with women (all between 20-55), and this has their stamp of approval for being "clean, fresh, and masculine, but not overpowering or too complex."If you are looking for an everyday smell that's EXTREMELY affordable, look no further.
