Great product. Easy to install.
I’ve really enjoyed these. I live on an alley, and they still let in quite a bit of light. They also sparkle when light shines through at night. Easy to install, and have stayed up well. The hardest part was getting them to separate, but I am a massage therapist and have super short finger nails. Once you get them apart, they were a breeze. I did 8 windows. I like the way they change color with the shifting light. I had to get creative and use them sideways with the widest window.

So far so good
So far so good! I used a little bit of shampoo in the water like recommended. The installation was pretty easy. The corners are the tough part. I used a straight edge and an xacto knife to trim off the excess. Using the straight edge definitely helped. On the parts I didn’t used the straight edge it’s definitely not as exact as the areas I did. The most aggravating part was getting the backing off the vinyl cling before applying it. It definitely lets in light while providing privacy. It’s extremely opaque and you can’t make out any objects on the other side of the glass. Keeping my fingers crossed it stays stuck!

Great staying power and does its job
We used this on a huge picture window in our master bath while we waited for our plantation shutters to be delivered. I was pleasantly surprised by how well it stayed on during those 5 weeks yet, at the same time, how EASILY we were able to remove it without any residue when the time came. Adhering it to the window was easy -- the only tricky part was cutting it cleanly once applied to the window. Our edges were a little jagged -- this didn't bother us since we knew it was a temporary solution, but I would not have been totally happy with our cutting job had this been a long-term solution for us. I'm sure others have figured out the best way to cut it, though. You couldn't see anything through it (aside from light) during the day, and, at night, you had to be standing within 2-3 inches of the window for anyone outside to be able to see a shape or form. You still would have privacy, but you could see an outline of a person/body if you were standing right next to it. This wasn't a problem for us, and it provided the privacy we needed.

Easy to apply
I bought this for a store door that we don't use anymore but we didn't want people to look thru and see what we had stacked in front of it. The roll I bought was wider then the measurements of the glass in the door and longer. I am glad that I bought it bigger because I just taped it on the frame surrounding the window and cut it about 1/2 of an inch past the frame (still bigger then the glass) then I sprayed the glass and the vinyl and pressed it into the glass. I then took a flat surface item ( a plastic ruler) and spread it out and tried to get out the air bubbles and any uneven areas. I then trimmed around the glass part so that it fit to the window. At this time I still have a little tape (I re taped it at the top just in case) on the top of the vinyl and it appears to have adhered and is holding up pretty well. It has only been a couple of days. Overall I think that we are very satisfied with this because you can't see through it and it was fairly easy to hang.

LOVE
I bought a smallish roll and a giant roll. I have 2 6’x 6’ windows, a small kitchen window and a back door with 12 panes. Material is easy to cut. Lay it down, measure window, I used a sharpie (ON THE BACKING / SMOOTH SIDE) and cut with scissors. I had a total of 64 panes in all, in 3 different sizes. If you have multiple windows measure ahead and do the math to determine smallest roll you can get away with. As long as you have a big dining room table to lay it down on don’t be afraid to get a 6’ and just cut down! I cut all at once, then began installing. My door came last and when I went to install I noticed several were somehow cut too short. I was devastated until I had an idea to just go with it. I trimmed all of them down half an inch on each side. I am OBSESSED with how it turned out! I love that there is still TONS of privacy and still TONS of light. I can also peek out an open sliver and see anything I need to. Now that I love it so much I am going to go back through and remove all the others and trim them the same, then reinstall!

Amazing Product - Lasted for YEARS - Just Buy It!
I am leaving this review after using the product for 2.5 years - I bought this product for privacy on a ground-level Anderson sliding glass door, in a rental apartment. It went on easily after spraying the window with Windex, and I smoothed the bubbles out with an old credit card, working from the center towards the edges. I cut the film to fit with a metal ruler and straight edged razor blade. And in 2.5 years in this rental unit, the privacy film NEVER bubbled or failed in any way. And when it was time to move out, I gently lifted a corner with a putty knife and it peeled away without leaving a mark (the window underneath was still sparkling clean from the Windex!) I rolled the film up, and plan to reuse it at our new house, and will buy more if we need it. Highly recommend this product - Just buy it!!

What a great product!
So I'm a lucky person in that I am able to work from home during the pandemic. I've never done that before. My dog had to get used to it....he thought he needed to be on patrol of our windows 24/7 and started a new habit of jumping/leaning against the window sill to view the property from our upstairs windows. Barking ensued....he didn't care that I was in a meeting. So I thought let me find something to cover the bottom portion of the window just enough so he doesn't peek out and start barking. This did the trick. I can keep the curtains open, blinds up and get the daylight/sunshine and the privacy film doesn't overwhelm the whole window, just the first 18 inches or however tall the film is. I live in a condo 12 plex so I need to be sure my neighbors don't complain about the barking. Thank you for this quality product!

Buy it! Great solution!
Excellent cheap solution to privacy window!! Make sure u use a credit card to get out all the bubbles and a simple layer of water. This can be a 2 or 1 person job. Open/measure/cut and paste litterally 1 Hour!! Amazing with extra wrap left over!Great solution! Once installed though the frosted tint is truley that. U can not see in/ out only a Silhouette which was fine for us. Still lets the light in as well. Can’t go wrong.

GREAT PRODUCT!!!
TIP after cleaning your window surface, be sure to wet window with soapy water liberally. If the window is really wet it will make it easier to remove bubbles and position the sheet perfectly
