Alfa Romeo simply builds beautiful race cars. The Tipo 33, one of the most beautiful, was the successor to the TZ and was built in very limited numbers. Competing mostly in the 2 liter class powered by a twin cam, dual plug motor with SPICA fuel injection the 33 was able to rack up a few victories in its class. Model Factory-Hiro have very faithfully replicated this rare racing car in great detail, giving you, the model builder, the ability to very accurately preserve this small part of endurance racing history. This particular version replicates a car raced at Le Mans in 1968 and 1969. Model Factory-Hiro manufacture some of the most detailed and accurate models in the industry. These multi media kits contain parts made of beautifully cast resin, highly detailed and crisp white metal castings, rubber, fabric, photo etch, and spectacular decals. The instructions are quite easy to follow and very detailed, even including a painting schedule keyed to Gunzie Mr Color Paints. The kit itself is complete right down to the distributor cap and wires, fuel lines, radiators, brake rotors, axles, even fabric seat belts and photo etch buckles! All these and more are separate components that the modeler will assemble. The less experienced modeler will find these kits to be a delightful and rewarding challenge, while the more advanced builder will be delighted with the immense detail and accuracy these kits provide The modeler will spend many enjoyable hours painting and assembling this model, while learning in great detail the complex inner workings of the engine and suspension. In building a Model Factory-Hiro kit, the modeler will get a closer look at a rare factory race car than is ever possible outside of the actual factory. The completed model can be a masterful work of artistic complexity to be displayed and enjoyed for years to come.
