ATT compatible.... maybe more (USA mid west)
Will Update. Presently she is a full five ratingPRO's:. Use at least one (so far) major Cell Carrier in USA (ATT). So far easy to use. uses micro sim same as your phone. No need for adapter. Can do most all typical hands free task via the HOUND app and Android Auto. it is OTG compatable (on the go). CON's. keyboard- miss my Galaxy Tab4 general keyboard. Better keys for moving cursor around. Makes total since when a phone's screen not big enough for a more complex keyboard...... but geeeeee... this one's screen sure is. It's 3" more view than Tab4. Hope Kubi updates this. Otherwise ... easy peasy to fix..... other keyboard apps out there.... though...they may contain spyware.....ads etc etc. so not sure what I will do.. The most common "Hands free Assistant Aps" do not work with the tablet (Google Assistant, and others). As mentioned in PRO's the lesser known HOUND app does work with it but it is a little buggy. I did switch to Beta version of Google Play and Google Assistant just prior to trying HOUND. So their is a remote possibility this change is what allowed HOUND to work.... and may also let the more well known Hands Free apps work to...... but have not tried this yet.. It is NOT an Android 8. It is Android 7 though Ivan (seller) may have been fooled by the manufacture as well. Several systems check apps have shown it to be an 8..... yet several other systems check/benchmark apps show it as a 7 and the performance matches 7 as well. This issue has showed up in many tablets of this nature so I sorta expected it. 7 is still higher than what I owned before.JUST A THING- Not PRO or CON.... just is what it is. the lesser model has a better battery. Wish that 10000mah was an option here. this one charges slower than power draws from it when in use. Recommend you install and Use a less power hogging launcher, turn screen brightness down when you can..... or better yet only turn screen on when needed..... even if using navigation software on it in your vehicle.. there is an odd feature that apparently started in Android 7 and SUCKs that will rotate screen even if you got screen rotation locked. Think it is Intended to provide best view based on layout of webpage or image being viewed. Its little clumsy... But might become a PRO once one gets use to it.. Will incoming call and/or text, come in when in standby/sleep mode? YES.... just "looks" like it might not. When first coming out of Standby; the screen says "no cell service" . Once your fully out of Standby...... it shows your cell service is restored. That lends one to think then when in Standby/Sleep mode this Phablet shuts down the cell features partially. That is NOT the case. Phone call's and texts still come in. Incoming phone call does push it partially out of Standby/Sleep. An in coming text appears not too. Will update after more testing. (other words; it acts just like a cell phone in this regard)

Good Product
Fire HD Phablet arrived the next day as indicated in the purchase. The USB & Micro USB are loose in the charger and the tablet. That's the only issues at this time.Once the tablet was charging I paired the WiFi. Tablet started updating the operating system & a couple of preinstalled apps.Once that was done I started installing apps and syncing apps via the Kindle app from the Kindle Fire 7 to the new tablet. Everything updated & synced as it should. The color on the screen, after adjusting, are vivid and clear. The Clear Motion app takes away the jerky pictures and scrolling, creating a fluid transition from page to page. After loading and a restart, the processor is super fast. The only thing that I saw slowing it down is the internet download speeds.Overall, at this point and time, my wife is a very happy lady.Update! The Phablet works like a charm.

Not worth it in the end
It was an ok tablet for the money. Unfortunately the flaws in it just rendered made it unusably. Here are the flaws: The networking specs are wrong. I could connect to AT&T towers and make phone calls. However I could not use the data. The OS is not upgradeable at all. No patches, security updates nor upgrades can be installed, short of flashing a new OS image yourself manually. The battery does not last anytime at all.I would like to say returning it to Amazon was easy, fast and didn't cost a dime. I was reimbursed the full amount a day after UPS picked it up. 5 stars to Amazon for there awsome customer service

Hope you get lucky
This is not a Fire. It looks great. Good sound and picture. Has 6gb of ram which is a big deal. It's a brand I've never heard of, but for the money it great. However, it stopped charging with in two weeks. Had to replace. The replacement froze and restarted it's self in the middle of doing things. Didn't go for three stoked you're out.

Worst battery on earth
With 6gb ram and 10 cores this thing is a dudd . Thought it would be decent but was not even close. Throw in the worst battery you have ever seen and that wraps up this review.
