Momoya Chili Oil with Fried Garlic Taberu Layu 3.88 Oz

Best garlic chili oil I’ve had so far. The garlic is super crunchy and flavorful and the oil had great flavor on its own. I use it almost every morning on my eggs. 10/10

Bought this on a whim, now I’m putting it on everything except dessert (so far). It add a beautiful red color to my eggs, rice, or noodles! The flavor bomb that goes off in my mouth is unmatched. The crispy/crunchy garlic is dangerously good. If my family finds me in the kitchen at 2AM eating rice straight from the pot, blame this chili oil.

Fantastic flavor, great on anything. Can't stop eating. Downsides: 1. Small jar - goes quickly, 2. I wish it had a bit more heat. This one almost doesn't have any.

It's tasty and not spicey at all. I was looking for something that I tried in Kyoto but could not find anything here except for this item.

This is very delicious and I can use it in so many recipes. It works perfectly to make my own kani salad, and I've also used it in a variety of other recipes. I could eat this out of the jar with a spoon. The crispiness of the garlic chips is especially enjoyable. The ingredients in this are a lot better than most of the other brands, or at least most of the other brands available on Amazon that I compared it to. It doesn't have any horrible preservatives in it like so many others. If it weren't for the price being rather high for the amount received, I would order this regularly. As it stands, I only consider ordering it for special occasions.

Love this stuff. It's light on the spice but big on flavor. Will be a staple in my kitchen from now on! I had it today with my home made wahoo sashimi. This stuff is magical. Japanese style Asian flavor opposed to some of the other chili oils which might be more Chinese or Korean in their flavor profile. So glad it's available here!

I've bought this a couple times and like it. BUT read the ingredients - it is based on Rapeseed Oil which is very unhealthy. Do your own research. Choose the other Japanese brand that uses other better oils.

I ordered this specifically because I got this in Japan, was excited to find it online, in the photo it had Japanese script, however my jar came with a different label than what was shown in the photo. Now I’m uncertain whether this is the same product.
