Great item: here are a few tips
I loved this window film. I installed it on our clear glass shower doors. It is still sheer enough to see through but it provides enough blurring so you don’t feel quite as “exposed” while showering. TIPS: do not use a blade to cut it to size. Use a pair of scissors. Using a blade makes the edges curl (I learned this the hard way). If putting on shower doors remove the hardware first. It makes it a ton easier to smooth it out. Have a good squeegee on hand. Leave a little room on the edges. The inner shower door was a bit trickier because there is the overlap of the front door. I installed the film vertically on the left side and then folded the film so the the sticky side was on itself. I then reversed the door positions sliding the folded side through and then finished installing the right hand side. With some patience this will install exactly as you envisioned it to be. I have used window film in multiple place throughout my house and it always looks great. Good luck

Does the job, but not static held
This film did the job and was a good test for a permanent version. It was realtively easy to install. It is not however static clean as advertised, you spray water on the back to activate an adhesive just like Best Skins Ever for cell phones and electronic devices. It still should be fairly easy to remove, I hope.

Window films take work to install, this one has lower privacy and is harder to work with
To start, these window films are installable without too much skill/practice. It just takes times. I’m in a bottom floor apartment, but wanted to let some light in during the day (and keep my bedroom dark in the mornings) so I ordered three different films. This review will be a mix of general advice and specifics for this film.First, this stuff takes lots of rounds of work. You have to measure, cut, try and make your cut perfectly square, then separate the backing sheet. If you haven’t worked with window films before, I’d describe them as if two pieces of indestructible saran wrap were stuck to each other. Separating them is a huge pain. Since they work by static electricity, one thing that worked for me was to leave the actual film on the floor, then peel off the backing. Once you start peeling, the film will hold itself in place. Then there’s the window application - a few things to note. If you have a film that’s clear and uses texture, it’ll be harder to squeegee, harder to cut, and (at least in this film’s case) less privacy-preserving. Even if they’re all rated as the same privacy level, different films are definitely more or less private. So unless you’re specifically a fan of the “rain”, I’d recommend another film. There are plenty of directions with each roll, of varying grammatical quality. But you’ll figure it out, just don’t expect the installation to be fast.

Pleased But This Particular Roll Is Transparent
I had looked at a lot of these rolls, and decided on this particular roll due to pricing/coloring. Whereas other rolls diffuse shapes when looking outside/inside, this roll is completely transparent, outside/inside. It hides nothing, and this is what I needed it do, or at least diffuse. Also, it doesn't "shoot" iridescent color when the sun hits it, which other rolls did. This ended up a plus for me, actually, because I preferred it not do that. My window project involved me cutting shapes from some of the roll. Tedious work made more tedious because of the backing being so stubborn. Negatives aside, I am happy with the outcome. Guests always get a puzzled look and have to go up to the windows or mirror and touch the cut outs, lol. They really like what I did and how it turned out. If you follow instructions, it clings 100% to windows/mirrors. It even clings to a vanity (!) though a couple edges have to get re-dampened every now and again. It's a generous roll. I have more left should something happen. If it wasn't completely transparent, it have been a perfect buy.

It's not the easiest to install but the final result looks great.
I bought this for a bathroom window. I had a hard time getting it to stick, it's almost like the plastic was too thick and heavy, it kept wanting to peel up and come off. I ended up using a hair dryer which helped some with the air bubbles and helped it to adhere to the window. It's not perfect, there are still bubbles underneath but it's hidden by the texture of the design. It provides privacy but still allows light through which is what I wanted. I have used the thinner tinted window film before and in my opinion, the thinner one is easier to apply.

Ok on large glass not good on small panels
It works well on large windows and looks decent. There is a big difference fro. An actual piece of rain glass and this product but all and all good.Areas it's an issue is small windows like a door or window with small panels it just does not stick well.
