nothing like that with these
I've possibly become addicted to these battery pack lights. They're so simple to put ANYWHERE and I don't have the annoyance of finding a wall socket that's close to my desired location (and that won't leave a ton of cord awkwardly stretched out). This IS a short strand of lights but that's exactly what I needed. No issues with anything not working. I previously got a longer set that kept shorting out; nothing like that with these. I'm sure it just a luck of the draw type thing. Anyhow, these are cute. Add a bit of flare to the focused area. For the price, I definitely recommend.

They look great and I love them!
I love these lights. They look so good. Only gripe I have with them is that they aren't longer. But, they are still cool. The stars are actual metal. The led lights have held up with constant use. They take 2 AA batteries and they are simply lovely. I know they are advertised as Christmas lights but I have them draped across a large wooden armoir and it give it a great Americana look.

Battery pack defective
These are so pretty but one of my strands came with a battery pack that had no contacts (the spring coil and the the flat metal part where the battery makes contact, were missing) so I could not put a battery in. Amazon refunded my money quickly. If you need these for something, be sure you open the package and turn them on to be sure they work.

So pretty!!
I really really LOVE these lights. This is my third set I have ordered. I love the soft glow that comes off of them. They are not meant to light up a room or anything if that is what you are looking for. They make the perfect finishing touch on your decor. I have them in my dining room (on the hutch in picture) and on the headboard in our bedroom right now.They really are beautiful and well made. The set on my headboard is over a year old and still going strong :) I would recommend these lights to everyone :)
