MAHLE HS5719 Head Set

Contains every gasket I needed for the top end of my mercruiser 120, fit perfect and good quality. Hopefully I will never need them again but if I do, this is ghe set I'll get.

Perfect, just what I needed for my mercruiser 3.0 tks 135hp 2009, the only thing I have to mention is that the shipping box was too big compared to the small blue box where the gaskets come from.

as a former profession engine builder, I've always loved Mahle gaskets. This set has left me a bit disappointed. The quality of the gaskets is as good as ever, but the contents of the kit is lacking. Rather than being shipped with exhaust elbow to manifold gasket, you get a sheet of material to make your own. Paper carb base gaskets not cool for an engine where the carb sits on top the intake/exhaust manifold. Price cutting has gotten into everything these days. I'd prefer to pay extra to get what I need rather than have to spend hours more locating the correct pieces. No issues with the seller of these sets, not their fault Mahle is letting us down a little. This is still a quality kit of gaskets, just not everything required to do a perfect job.

Needed this gasket set for a old mercury I/B, worked great.... Fixed the blowed head gasket that had been that way for a long time.... Runs better now than it ever has.....

The head gasket cylinder holes are not perfectly round and don't line up with the cylinders at all. The exhaust/intake manifold gasket also does not line up with the ports at all. And the water pump gasket literally broke into pieces like a wet piece of paper. This is not the quality I was hoping to get from a mahle kit. Might as well save your money get the cheapest china one they have on here because that's all this is.

I purchased this gasket set for my 1990 Mercruser 3.0 engine. This head gasket has a metal reinforcement between the two center cylinders that the popular blue colored gasket dose not have which blows out quite often. I believe the Victor Reinz head gasket will cure the blowout problem.

Gaskets all fit fine

Fit perfect on my 1985 Mercruiser GM 140 engine. Needed the head gasket, exhaust manifold gasket, water intake gasket and exhaust el gasket.
