Maruman Mnemosyne Special Memo Notepad - A4 (8.27" X 11.69") - 7 mm Rule - 70 Sheets

This is fantastic. It feels like a very well made product that a lot of thought was put into. Very finished. Paper is smooth and great for writing with fountain pens. One thing I did not see mentioned in the other reviews was the paper. It is perforated along the edge so it tears out smooth and even that doesn't leave much of an edge. Simply fantastic.

Paper feels lovely, although it doesn't hold fountain pen ink as nicely as I would have hoped. Broader and wetter pens feather a fair amount.

Feels great but not for me. I was looking for a bright white paper but this was offwhite. I like the cover, binding and lines are light gray with 4 distinct sections, which makes it nice to categories items and the pages are perforated. The size of the paper is perfect. The left margin after the perforation is a little close for me. I was looking for something with little to no show when I take notes, create mind maps, graphics and flowcharts but this paper did not work for that.I use Pentel Energel .5 and .7 for note taking, Tombow watercolor dual tips for mind maps and highlighting important notes. The Pendel energel .07. showed slight pressure show through. The Tombow word art bleeds through and the graphics I made also went through but the paper pulled into little balls and is rough. Sharpie bleeds onto a second page and where I pressed harder onto 3rd page.I purchased Vela spiral notebook which is bright white, has an index, ruled paper on the left and grid on right for mind maps and graphics. The Vela paper is thicker and my Tombow and Sharpie do not show on the back and the paper. The Vela left margin after the perforation is a little wider but the height of the paper is shorter and the pages are numbered.

This is one of the best notebooks I have owned. The paper is amazing to write on in pencil or ink, and the notebook holds up extremely well compared to others, especially in a backpack. Would recommend!

Wonderful writing experience with fountain pens with hardly any noticeable bleeding. This is very high quality paper that makes you want to put down the laptop and take notes on this.

i bought this for my class notes, its very good ...i would repurchase for next semester :) ( i use gel pens and it glides on so perfectly! )

I cannot emphasize enough how I like this notebook. Although it only has few papers, the paper material is just amazing.The book is beautiful, the the packaging was so nice and the book was huuuuge. It is just awesome!
