The difficult bit for me was removing the old seat as the fixings had seized. Well it had been installed 30 years ago!This seat was fairly easy to fix. (78 year old woman) it says there are “two options”, top fixing or bottom fixing. Tried top first but could not force the “rubber plug” into the porcelain hole. I didn’t want to damage it, so I opted for bottom fixing, which was very straightforward but you have to screw it up pretty firmly but not too tightly, before locating the seat holes onto the hinge prongs or the hinges will move when you you use the quick release button to take the seat off again before the really tight screwing and placement of the hinge caps. A bit of trial and error did it. I have the seat positioned much better than it is in the product video! (Where it doesn’t cover the bowl at the front.)All in all satisfactory. Wish that the options were presented as choice, because I wasted some time and sanity thinking was I supposed to do top or bottom fixing? I didn’t really want soft close specially, but they mostly were, and this one was a moderate price and looked good. Hope I never have to do it again.I chose white, but it does make my 1990s champagne porcelain look a bit dingy.

First class product, easy to fit if you follow the instructions. I have used these on other toilets in our home. God value for money.

Why did you choose this product over others?:After returning toilet seats from two other manufacturers as they turned out to be an off white cream colour (as opposed to the advertised and pictured white colour), these were perfectly white as advertised, and thus matched our toilets well. They appear to be well made and of good quality, and the soft close and quick release functionality work well. They were easy to install and are comfortable. 😊👍

The seat looks and feels nice, is easy to clean and has a good soft close action. But - the fixings aren't very secure and are too narrow for the holes in the toilet so the seat has to be tightened constantly. I've had to double checke the installation several times to make sure I've got it right to no avail. I may have to buy some new fixtures. It was really hard to get the old fixing out - I wish I'd kept them as the ones supplied just don't fit. Very annoying.

Easy to fit, feels good quality just make sure you measure your toilet properly!

Thinner material than my previous seat but seems very robust. It does not slip on the toilet pan. Easy to install. Slow soft closure. Pleased with the product.

Looks fine, fits well, soft close, easy release to clean. Fitted easily enough, just keep screwing to fully tighten. So far so good.
