it has a great feel and aural feedback
I received this keyboard just last Thursday, June 18. I don’t do computer gaming. I bought this keyboard for my business computer. So many of today's keyboards have a flat chicklet layout as found on notebook computers. Fewer and fewer have the traditional graduated elevated layout as does the Aula keyboard. Also, it has a great feel and aural feedback. The touch and sound are similar to the very solid feeling original IBM PC keywords back in the mid 1980's.*****************************Well, here it is a day or so later, and the keyboard started causing some strange problems with my computer system. Suddenly I wasn't able to scroll down in Internet Explorer using the scroll wheel on my trackball. It scrolled up just fine. Also, when I would click on a desktop icon, suddenly three or more icons were also selected. Same thing within Windows Explorer; it kept on selecting multiple files. Since this keyboard was the only change that had been made to the system recently, I plugged in a different keyboard and the problem went away. Ashamed. I really liked the keyboard and originally gave it five stars. Possibly it was just defective, but I just ordered a Logitech K350 wireless from Amazon to replace it.

Even though the switches are off-brand they feel great. They are very loud
Even though the switches are off-brand they feel great. They are very loud, but what's the point of a quiet mech? 4 stars because the lettering isn't that good looking and shift symbols aren't above non-shifted symbols on the keys.

Great keyboard, you get what you pay for.
I purchased this product a little while ago and at the time the cost was $65 and it was my very first mechanical keyboard. That being said I've moved on from this to two other keyboards, both of higher quality than the next, but I believe this is a great first keyboard and will give a decent amount of use with its thick cord and rugged design. The build quality of this keyboard is great, it feels very sturdy and very hefty with its metal backplate and very grippy rubber feet much like the higher quality mechanical keyboards and the standard keyboard layout as opposed to that of corsair, razer, etc leaves you room to replace keysets as you see fit without much hassle.(but I feel as though it should be noted that the keycaps are a little different than standard mx keycaps when it comes to putting on o-rings, as you'll need to put on two, as opposed to one, to reduce any travel distance). It comes with feet on the underside that you can flip out if you want a little bit more of an angle for when you're typing. If I had any complaints with this keyboard it would be that the Aula blue switches that it comes with are a little inconsistent. I found my keyboard had an almost uniform click throughout the keyboard except for a few keys, but that was to be expecting when trying to save money on a mech keyboard. The typing/keypresses through typing multiple papers and games of CS:GO/League of Legends was a very nice transition from a membrane keyboard and a great overall experience.I would thoroughly recommend this keyboard for anyone trying to get into mechanical keyboards.

Great for typing on! Keys keep your fingers snug.
I've had this keyboard for several months now and have experienced no issues whatsoever. I've actually been pleasantly surprised by it.I chose this keyboard based on the feel, sound, curvature of the keys to my fingers, and material used. What sold me on this keyboard was how easily and accurately I was able to type on the keys because my fingers fit snugly in them. The flat, completely smooth texture of most of the mechanical keyboards that I tried out was a real problem for me when it came down to actually typing on the things. However, don't take my word for it - go to a computer store and try out their mechanical keyboards for yourself. I know I wasn't able to make a decision just from looking at these reviews online.'Update: 1 year later, the left side of the keyboard has begun to malfunction, so I've been forced to go back to an older keyboard temporarily. The issue is that the keys of the left side of the keyboard only trigger 90% of the time, which really sucks for gaming. I loved this keyboard while it lasted, but unfortunately I don't think I'll be getting another one if the life span is only 1 year. ):

Half the keys sounded like the blue switch keys
Bought this product at Microcenter. Used it for about a couple of weeks, then the key caps started becoming looser, the sound of the keys wasn't the same. Half the keys sounded like the blue switch keys, the other sounded like red switch keys. Returned it and purchased a keyboard with Cherry MX red keys.

... want to drop $60+ for one and not really like the feel of it
I had been debating for a while on whether or not i wanted to invest in a mechanical keyboard but didnt want to drop $60+ for one and not really like the feel of it, so when I saw this one for $30 at Microcenter I thought it would make a nice trial run.So far my experience using it has been positive, and I would recommend it for anyone unsure if they want to get a mechanical keyboard; however there are a few things that make this a 4 and not a 5 star review.- The space bar feels weird. The action of the switches is nice, however the angle at which the key itself sits is a little funky. When typing you're more often than not actually hitting the bottom edge of the space bar and not the top of the key, which feels weird.- The typeface on the keyboard is one of those futuristic squred/digital looking fonts that really takes some getting used to, especially for finding symbols on the num keys. Yes, I should probably know where they are by now, but it's still strange.- The indicator lights use a deck of cards motif that seems out of place. (Numlock is a heart, caps lock is a spade, scroll lock is a diamond, and win-button lock is a club). overall it doesn't really fit with the styling of the keyboard, but its not really a dealbreaker, although it looks a little funny having a little heart lit up on my keyboard all the time.
