Jonathan Green (10895) Black Beauty Sunny Grass Seed - Cool Season Lawn Seed (1 lb)

Usually use Johnathan green black beauty ultra but wanted to try this for a spot that gets alot of sun all day. Overall I can't complain it came in nice and green

I ripped out our back yard and these seeds were my choice after much research. i seen growth within 7 days and the color is so green which i like.

I would say solid 4.5 starsPatience is key the first time I used this brand I got desperate at the 1 week mark but as I used on different lawns I notice this is a 10-20 day germination but when it does it come in it comes like a bomb. I've had great results I've use many brands but the color and consistency of Jonathan's cant be beat.In the photo this was a complete strip till and redo front lawn from spring to fall

I tried to plant in late spring knowing it wasn't a good time of year to plant seed. Some came up in areas without intense sun, but that's it. Watered it several times a day, birds are some. Very little survived in heavy sun areas. Probably works fine planted in fall.

ive watched videos on this grass seed,,they make you think this grass seeds germinate in a week....ive done everything write,,lot of prepp work be fore laying my grass seeds ,,ive water it 3 times a day for allmost a month now and very little seeds actually catch....people dont waste your money ull be dissapointed

My grass looks amazing and I didn’t have any weeds. Just need to get some shade seeds now
