It doesn't come in a box. But very good quality for this type of toy. It is about 3 inches tall and 4-5 inches long.

I did an Internet search and the answer that came up was polyvinyl chloride, PVC.

I’m not sure what you mean by ‘work’.... It is well made, good details, solid, the mouth and arms move, but no sound or no lights. Perhaps smaller?
