my kids' and my favorite toy
I bought this marble parkour for my daughter's 9 year birthday. It is amazing!First of all, I have to say it's not easy to assemble because all pieces are designed to snap to each other super tight. I did all the snapping work, and my nails were quite stressed. It is a good idea to utilize two tools included in the package. I don't think my daughter is strong enough to snap them. Though you may think this is a drawback of the toy, I believe it's absolutely necessary to make the whole structure sturdy. I also love the way they snap together with mortises and tenons. Very smart and elegant.I had my daughter to take off pieces from boards and figure out how to piece them together. It was so fun to piece this complicated, delicate, and very well designed 3D puzzle together. We got the fun of being a carpenter when we put each module together and then wow at how smart the module works (like a programmer wow at nice codes). When the whole toy was put together, we were surprised to find out that the parkour runs the marbles endlessly. I had thought we had to pick up the marbles from the bottom and put them to the top of the parkour each time. It's not the case. The whole parkour is a continuous cycle, wow! My whole family love it. My 6 year old son was so excited that he turned the handle non-stop for an hour, lolI'm going to buy a different puzzle of the series next year. Thumb up!

Amazing engineering
It was difficult to make but not tedious. It took me about 8 hours to assemble, and I never got bored. The result is an infinite marble course that's very entertaining.

Easy to follow - Takes a little finesse
Ordered in April came end of May. When it did it was all in Chinese (Box, writing, instructions). Contacted seller and they were very responsive and found an English version and emailed it to me. In reality the only thing you need in English is the 1st few pages that have the legend explain what the different graphics mean as you move through the instructions. Once you are in the step by step there is actually nothing to read...everything is visual by piece number and very easy to follow. They provide tools, a piece of emery cloth which i went through quick because i sanded every piece (which i recommend!!!) I got a few pieces of emery cloth from Home Depot. Lightly sand each piece to get the notches off and make sure they are smooth all the way around else you may find things not sitting flush or having to force a piece together and risk breaking. This is a no glue needed item and they do not provide it. I found i only needed to add glue to a few pieces of the ramps where they get weren't snug enough. I used a little Gorilla Wood Glue with a tooth pick to apply. After assembly it took a little tweaking to get the marbles rolling consistently and there were spots where they slow or stop. Also a few spots where they roll right off the unit. These are the spots you will need to tweak and finesse a little. This is one of those things that may be off by a millimeter and that's enough to take the smoothness out of it.OVERALL: I loved this thing. Looks great on my bar. I loved putting it together and i plan on ordering the rest of the Marble Run Series.

Study, fairly easy to assemble, great fun!
I bought this on kind of a whim thinking it will be fun to show my 3 year old great grandson when he comes to visit next month. I've worked with both wood and plastic models so figured it would not be a problem to assemble. The pieces all come on die or laser cut sheets, very accurately cut and none were cracked or broken. My thumb got a little sore punching out all the pieces but anyone with longer fingernails will not have my problem. Everything went together fairly easily but the last several marble tracks require some finesse. Judicious use of pliers helps to squish pieces together in a few places. Be sure to use the wax to lubricate all surfaces that move against each other, especially the cams! End result was pretty sturdy and fun to operate. Only one area gets a little loose after playing for awhile so I'll probable added some glue to that joint. Took about 4 or 5 hours over 2 days to put it together, hard to set aside once I started. I think a handy 12 year could handle assembly with a bit of help. Highly recommended!

A Great birthday gift to an 11 years old girl
This kit is perfect for u if u love to make complicated builds and love big puzzles. I built this with my mom and we had the best time building it.The pierces are very well organized and easy to find. Some of them can be fragile but it is pretty stable it is attached to the entire build. The instructions are all very easy to follow as long as you read them carefully.Momβs comments: I loved building this with my daughter and we had a lot of fun. I love it very very much and have and has been playing with it for a long time it is very satisfying to watch the beads move back-and-forth and go down the slopes and bridges. I would really recommend this if you are looking for something to do during quarantine and you want to spend time with your child or just let them have fun.πππππππππ

This is a great gift for someone who enjoys puzzles and putting things together.
This puzzle is constructed from sturdy, but thin, plywood. The pieces are robust and well cut. You must be careful when punching out the pieces as some part have small details which you may damage if you are not mindful of what you are doing. The results is a very intricate Rube Goldberg type marble run. Very entertaining. A couple places in the instructions are a bit ambiguous and could use some adult, but my 10 year old grandson did the actual assembly. We actually spent most of a morning, afternoon, and evening in the assembly process. He did not want to stop until it was finished. Any project which can hold the attention of a 10 year old child that long is a great project.
