Hello, do the lids fit on top of the cup to seal the liquid in?

No - they are mats not lids- not sure how useful they are but the actual cups are great for us - perfect size for taking on a walk and couldn’t find any other this size

How does the size comoare to a standard mug?

Are they good to keep hot drinks hot?

Hi! I only use them for cold drinks - which they’re great for, ice melts super slowly - but I’m guessing g hot drinks would still cool quite quickly as they have no lid - I can recommend (not an ad!!!) the smidge insulated coffee cups though - they’re the best I’ve tried and are leak proof too, pricy but worth the investment 🙂 hope that helps
