Yes, the cord can be placed on the left or the right.

Q: Can this curtain pole be cut to size? My window is smaller than the 125cm length of this track.

Yes they can. I shortened 1 of mine too. The end pieces are fixed in place with a wee screw. You undo that then gently pull the end off. Cut the track to the right length remembering to include the length of the end stop you've taken off. Once cut slide the end back on and screw in place. The track easily cuts with a hacksaw, it's quite flexible plastic. spread the brackets evenly on the wall and click the track into place. Enjoy

Q: Is this suitable for a bay window?

125 cm probably is not long enough for a bay window. Swish curtain rails are made of plastic and hence are flexible and can be bent a bit to fit in a bay window.

Q: Can more loops be added to the rail, or is it a set amount?

Yes, more eyes (or loops) can easily be added, and we have done so.
